Living in South Florida US, is wonderful most times, beautiful weather, ocean breeze, freedom to do what you want (within boundaries), etc. BUT, there in the back of your mind is the possibility of bad weather, tornados, lightning, and hurricanes. This one is a worst case scenario, change of direction, 8-10 storm surge, and a medium age of older people. Looks like the death toll will continue to grow in the following days. Please keep the people of Florida in your thought during these trying times. |

From what I saw on the news, the destruction was devastating. Whole cities blown away or under six feet of water in places. It was truly horrible to see. I hope you and your fellow Floridians are safe. Hang in there. |

Now the door to door search for dead people is underway. I feel for the families, the 1st responders, and everyone involved in this tragedy. It is a nightmare that just won’t stop. |

As a survivor of Hurricane Michael almost 4 yrs ago I know what the people who survived Hurricane Ian are going through and my heart goes out to them, they will not be whole for many years to come if ever. Prayers for the survivors and the families of those who perished in the storm. |

Was offered a bargain basement price to mexico last week, seeing how it grew, and travelled am thankful i turned it down, Don't really get all your hurricanes and tornadoes that much near me, so watching on is devastating thinking with weather changing eventually will come our way. Is not just the storms, is the moving, the destroying everything a family built, the looters and is horrible to think about. |

Thoughts go out to everyone affected by these storms! I live in tornado alley, so I get the devistation that can be felt from a natural disaster, but nothing quite that scale. Hope everyone is safe first and foremost. |
