So ignore the heading, i couldnt think of what to call my thread.

What i propose is that crewleaders should have more control and felxibility in how to tax their crew.

How this would work is you have your overall tax for the whole family at the moment. I propose that as well as that tax option, you should be able to set taxes individually or by rank.

E.G bobby brown has a tax rate of 50% for everything for blah blah reason but john doe has a tax rate of 10% for xxx reason, or gangsters have a tax rate of xxx and consigs have a tax rate off xx.

This will give us more options on how we run our crews on a day to day basis and for punishments/rewards

Pros: Gives crewleaders more flexibility and options. Can be used as a punishment rather then demotion or death. Also can be used as a reward, remove taxes etc if people do good so they can earn more money for themselves.

Cons: I cant see any cons to this as it doesnt have any negative effects I can think of.

I really really like this, I can also see no cons with this but many pros.

Hey, Chade, I have been thinking about the exact same idea recently (just never got round to wiriting it) and think it is a superb idea. It would definetly allow leaders to reward (and punish) a lot more. Often Crew Leaders have 'tax free days' depending on tributes, but lets say I tribute $10mil, and Chade only tributes $1mil, our leader should be ablento reward me with 10 days of low tax, whilst you only get 1 day.

The only con some might bring up is 'favouritism' with those close to the CL's getting lower taxes, but this isnt actually a game con, but more a flaw in that leaders mentality. And anyway, it happens in the real mafia. 1 mafioso pays less in taxes then another due to them being close.

DanK has given us another pro. It will make the people want to get in good with the boss because they will get lower taxes. It will increase the members of the crews actually mailing their CL at least and increase player relations by a little bit.

Not sure its beneficial, actually. I mean 10% for a consig is going to make you more money already because 10% of 20 units is more money than 10% of 5 units, this is already well balanced. If you think you should collect more from your Higher rankers then as a leader you should mandate tributes from them.
