So, we left our lovable family off with SassyPeach dragging his dearest pear home, and calling up Dr. elkmik about finding a way to bring her back.

It would be an arduous journey, but elkmik was sure there was a way to bring life to that Sassiest of pears. It was a few days before Halloween, and it was extra spooky and leafy outside, and SassyPeach was directed to get a few ingredients for the brew of life.

He stole Victoria’s carved spider pumpkin. He snatched Zoom’s coffee maker. He took some of Cheetara’s fur. He took Futurestealer’s innocence. And he went to the grocery store, which in itself was a horror for him as a peach, and bought some other items, avoiding the produce section.

Finally, in his basement, he poured all the ingredients into the coffee machine, and clicked it on. The lights flickered and it sounded as if a storm was coming outside. Thunder and lightning came down on the house, but the rest of the neighborhood stayed dry. Finally, when the brew was done, he smelled it, and vomited a little. The things we do for love, he said.

He poured it over SassyPear’s body, and she glowed the most gruesome green. He waited around, and worm crawled out of SassyPear. But then more silence. He continued waiting, but then he thought he saw her blink. He went over and kissed her forehead, hoping to stir her. She blinked again, and then she rose, hungry for pears. So hand in hand, he took her back to the grocery store produce section, and they bought her some pears to eat.

SassyPeach was so happy, but he wasn’t sure how the brew worked it’s magic.

SassyPearZombie told him, “It wasn’t the gross steaming cocktail you made, dad. Your love is what brought me back.”
