The Pitty-Pat Social Club Started by: Salvatore-Rosario on Oct 30, '22 00:58

Sal opened the door to the Pitty Pat, he was smiling like a kid in a candy store.   He walked looking at the Oak bar that was three feet wide and 20 foot long, red stain and the dark redish brown bar stools and tables and chairs.  He looked at the booze behind the bar and nodded as it was well stocked.  The tables all had a deck of cards and some had chess or checker boards for those that  likes those games.   In the back was a game room for those with money burning a hole in their pockets.  They shot dice and played poker depending on who got their first and what the people wanted to do.

Sal walked behind the bar and poured himself and the guys a drink.  They made a toast then Sal nodded to Sammy to put the open sign in the window and open the frint door for business.  Sal saw that the waitresses and bartenders were ready and they were on the clock.   Sal greeted the first few people that walked in the first ten got drinks on the house for the first week.

Venus needed a drink after her long day of work. When walking home, she saw a new bar had opened up. She went inside to check and it seemed like a nice place without many people.

"Perfect," she thought, and sat at one of the bar stools.

"Can i get a drink, please? Anything special you have here."

Isa stumbled into the news there was a new bar in town. Looking around to see if she was being followed by some crazed woman who portrays herself as very abusive with an over inflated feeling of worth... she saw the coast was clear. Nobody wants to be in the presence of such a troubled human being.

She happily entered the Pitty-Pat Social Club. She took a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of the houses finest wine and get everyone here a drink on me. She placed an envelope on the bar and said keep the change.

Sal was happy to see the Club filling up with people.  He served VGoddess with a drink on the house then he turned and served Isabella with a bottle of wine from his private stock.   Sal looked over at Sammy and Carlo who were walking around and taking with the people that had a little too much to drink.   Sal gave them the go ahead to put people in tazi's as a safe ride home.  Sal liked live customers vs bad rep for here some one died in a car accident from living his bar.

Rain couldn’t believe how sharp SilentAssassin looked in his new Fedora.  She just loved the way a Fedora looked on men.  They made their way over to her good friend Salvatore-Rosario ‘s  Pitty-Pat Social Club for a few drinks.

When they arrived the place was already pretty crowded.  The host managed to find them a table and they sat down while the waited for the waitress to come over to take their drink order.

Sal had a very nice place going on.  You could tell the clientele was at ease there.  Everyone was just mingling enjoying themselves. The waitress came over and took their drink order.

Sal watched as Rain walked into the Pitty-Pat.  He gave her a nod as he knew she was busy afterall she was the underboss of the family.  Sal sent over a bottle of wine from his private stock to celebrate her becoming a made member.   Sal walked around greeting people hoping to overhear of something new that could bring him a nice chunk of change.   Money talks when you need legal or government support.

Sal spotted his bookie and smiled as the man handed him a envelope from his bets of yesterdays games.  Carlo took the envelope to the office Sal never touched it.  Sal never knew who was watching him.

Silent,Assassin was impressed with the Pitty-Pat Social Club. great decor, relaxing atmosphere and pleasant sounding music. The waitress came over with Rain's order and a double rum and coke for SA, She informed them this round is on the house and the next round is on that lady at the bar points to Isabella.

S,A nods and raises his glass ot her in appreciation of her generosity.  He takes a drink and looks at rain with a bit of a concerned look .  "You were one of my best pupils, reflexes like a jaguar, could strike and kill with perfect precision. i had planned on you becoming my successor someday but then one day i get a note from you saying you could no longer be my student and were out of this business. i was so perplexed and disappointed. May i ask you what happened for you to just disappear like that? you could have talked to me. " looks at Rain with caring concern

Rain took a few sips of her drink.  She had tried to erase that dreadful day from her mind. It was difficult to talk about that day but felt SilentAssassin deserved an answer especially after all the time and work he had devoted to her.

There’s no denying that taking someone’s life can eat at you. Rain had taken out some very bad men that deserved to be taken out and was paid well to do so.

SA, it was fucked up from the very beginning.  Someone dropped the ball. On a Friday afternoon they found out the bastard Tony Bellagio was going to testified against Don Castillo in court that next Monday morning.  The only option I had was to take him out leaving church that Sunday.  I had to take out this son of a bitch leaving church service.

The set up was flawless; no way could I miss this shot, especially with my assault automatic rifle with silencer and scope. So I thought.

Dallas and I waited patiently for the service to end and the people started leaving the church.  Out came Bellagio, but he was holding a little girl.  What the fuck? The little girl was squirming in his arms.  Dallas started yelling “take the shot Rain, take the shot”.  I started yelling back at him I didn’t have a clear shot.  There was no guarantee I wouldn’t hit the girl, she wouldn’t be still.  Please, please put the girl down I kept repeating to myself looking through scope with my heart pounding like it was going to jump out my chest.  Take the shot Rain, Dallas kept saying and I kept telling him to shut the fuck up.

The little girl squirmed so much in Bellagio arms he finally put her down and as he stood back up I took the shot.  I saw the blood splash on the little girl as he went down.  I leaned against the wall next to the window numb, breathing hard, I couldn’t move. Dallas packed my gear up and said let’s get the hell out of here.

SA, I promised myself right there and then that was my last job.

With hands shaking a little recalling what happen she picked up her glass again. Rain took another few more sips of her drink.

Upon hearing Rain's story a sullen somber expression came across S.As face " im sorry you had ot go through that. you were a very well trained killer but i knew your big heart would perhaps be your weakness. Other pupils i trained would have taken the shot immediately others would not have done it at all" *takes rains hands into his and looks into her eyes which are filling with tears * "Dallas told me what happened that night. but by the time i went looking for you. you were gone,

"im glad you are okay ive missed you terribly.  So now that you are not in the business, what kind of business are you into? finishes off his rum and coke with one gulp.

Sal was behind the bar serving drinks and taking orders he had guest that arrived but the place was filled and every one was drinking.  Sammy walked two men to the back office the two men were from Cleveland Ohio.  James Licavoli and John Scalish they were working to earn and show that they had the makings the same as Sal.  Sal walked to the back and closed the door behind him.

Sal started the conversation with telling them that he has connections in Canada and and New York.  That he can ensure protection from the docks to their front door with each order.  Scalish talked about the price droping with larger orders Sal agreed that all orders above 200 pounds he could drop the price by five points per pound.

Licavoli didn't say much other then he wanted to make the payments when the product was there at their warehouse.  Sal told them that wasn't possible the amounts they are bringing in needed to be paid up front.

As Rain watched SilentAssassin signaled the waitress to bring them another round she thought to herself  she needed him to understand it had nothing to do with a weakness in her heart.

I didn’t have a clear shot. The little girl was the decoy.  No way was I going to risk killing an innocent little girl.  When the shot was clear I took it before he got to his car.

Rain was glad to see the waitress return with their drinks.  It gave her the opportunity to close that book again.  She took a sip from her fresh drink.

Well SilentAssassin it seems that I have inherited partnership in some very valuable stones.  Pierre a long time friend of the family has had them a long time.  When he reached out to me saying he his getting old that it’s time for them to be sold and he trusts that I can handle transactions.

I am in the process of getting a crew together to handle the sales.  Right now I have two good people.  One is an old friend MikhiMusso who resides in New York, the other is a crew member IceCola.   Salvatore-Rosario the owner of this place and another good friend is someone I am interested in talking with.

If we get this together I know there’s quite a bit of money to be made.

Alcestis looked up at the sign out front, took a deep breath, and pulled open the door.

Nope! Not a strip club, what a relief. She wrapped her sweater a little tighter around herself -damn, it was cold here!- and walked over to the bar.

"Coffee? With brandy in it please?" Alcestis pointed at the small table she'd be sitting at and then went over to sit down. There was a deck of cards sitting there, and after a moment's thought, she picked it up and began shuffling. After the third or fourth shuffle, she placed the cards, one by one, into a classic solitaire formation. She already had two aces up before the coffee arrived.

"Thank you, I'm just getting warmed up here, both literally and figuratively, I suppose. Do you have any serious card games going on tonight? Maybe in the back there? I've been delayed getting home and I have a lot of time to kill." She smiled, hoping the tender understood that she had some money to spend, but discreetly.

the man known as Orazio_Udinese took a seat at the bar and looked around. flagging down a bartender Orazio_Udinese nodded hello and in a gruff deep voice asked for a pint of lager from the man who came to take his order.

once given the bar Orazio_Udinese got up and walked around the room looking at the different games that were happening and nodding his head took a seat at the poker table. pulling out a wad of cash from his pocket Orazio_Udinese stated that he was in and ready to clean up.

Sal was pouring drinks again talking with the customers and his employees.  He was also watching the door hoping that his pals would walk in like they said they would.  Sal watched Sammy and Carlo as they were watching the doors and Vincent who was watching the men that moved around Sal.

Sal made himself a seven and seven and talked with Vincent about a new business, one which they could earn money coming and going with a lower chance of doing jail time.  Sal wanted to get a little more info before he approched his pals for a peace.  He wanted to ensure he dotted his I's and crossed his T's and was sure what the bottom line looked like on a bad day.

Quadir entered the Pitty-Pat with a smile and cigar in hand.  He looked around with a cigar in hand looking for a spot to Copasquat.  He spotted a table and made a b-line for it.  When he took a seat, he waved over a hostess and ordered a whisket and club soda.  He paid her up front and told her to keep the change.  Talking a puff from his cigar he lean back in his chair as he exhaled the smoke and pulled out is pocket watch.  Looking at the time he nodded and put the watch back.

Sal walked into the Pitty-Pat looking to get a few drinks and a sandwich and play a few hands of poker and win some pocket change.  He walked in looking for a place he and his guys could seat and play cards without causing an issue.   They took a seat and a waiter came over sal asked for four glasses of beer and hoggies for each person at his table.  Then Tommy pulled out a deck of cards and started dealing.  Sal laughed and ask who cut the cards because Tommy was known for cheating at card games.

Sal was still playing cards and drinking in Pitty-Pat.  He had order a few drinks and a sandwiches for himself and the people he was playing cards with.   He was winning and spending their money on him and them.  He looked at his watch and realized that he had been playing cards for a few hours and these guys didn't want to stop yet Sal was getting tried of the game.

He took his time looking into the Pitty-Pat Social Clubbut ultimately decided that most of the mortals inside were not envious of others. They were only here to enjoy themselves and have a good time. Listening in to some of their conversations, they made up their own stories of who they were but did not over-exaggerate their life. This clearly would not be the place for him to corrupt mortals to his ever-ending game of play.

Sal returned to the Pitty-Pat he wanted to get drunk and enjoy the night as it faded into the next morning.  He drunk whiskey the entire night and then when he was about to pass out he was escorted into a taxi to take him home.  Sal noticed the person that put him in the taxi sounded like Tommy all Sal knew was he had his wallet.  When the cab pulled up to his apartment Sal exited the cab and walked into the building then up to his apartment.

Back at the Pitty-Pat Sal sat at his favorite table with Tito and Nick seating at the table just before Sal's.  Gino was recovering and the bruno brothers were out hunting for the buyer that tried to rip them off and killed Riccardo.  Sal was playing cards with a few old timers and having a drink of whiskey with a drop of lemon juice and soda.  Sal was breaking even on the card game but couldn't get a winning streak going.
