I salute you and the work you do, may you make it home to the ones that you love and if you have to give the extra for your country I bless the memories that people may have of you.

Always strive to make the right choice even if it is hard for you to do it.

Many people have given their all for freedom and I have buried many of them, May you all over come your own obstacles in life and gain your own bit of freedom when and where you can.

To all that dawned on the uniform thank you for your service, no matter the reason for joining you put your life on the line so that I could enjoy the fruits this country has to offer me.  Thank You,  

My Dad was a Merchant Marine in WWII and a Navy man during the Korean War. He served his Country proudly. He was not one for stories though so we didn't hear about his service until he was in his 90's.

One thing we did know though was his hate for eggs. He told us how he had had powdered eggs every morning through his service and he swore he would never have eggs again. He lived up to that.

And when he goes to Heaven,
To St. Peter he will tell:
Another soldier reporting, Sir;
I've served my time in hell.

We will remember them.

I second this. Anyone who’s served their country is truly, honestly and unconditionally a hero.

definitely a big ups for this, serving your country is a big sacrifice mentally and physically, never forget to tell your people you love them..  even if it doesn't sound right.
