Ada is walking down the street to a local bar to relax from flying city to city. She turns at a corner and sees a creature from a near distance. She is not sure if it is human or another life form. The creature stands in the light and notices Ada. It starts walking towards her. Ada holds onto her gun just in case trouble starts. The creature turns out to be a man in a mask. Wait a tick. It's not Halloween. The man explains to her that he is on his way to a masquerade party in the local area. Wow! That seems interesting and she wishes to come along but she was not invited to come. The man walks away but before turning the corner he stops and asks if she wants to come with him as his date. With no hesitation she accepts his invite and goes with him. Standing in front of the building of the party she realizes she does not have a mask and she stops. What's wrong? my lady? The gentleman asks. I don't have a mask to wear. He opens his coat pocket and retrieves something from it. It was shinning and glittering with feathers. It is a beautiful mask for her to wear. I knew this will come in handy. The gentleman said. She puts on the mask and takes his hand and enters the place. The place is gorgeous with sparkling lights and a band playing wonderful music. |
