Last Christmas. Started by: Hiro_Nakamura on Jan 05, '23 16:58

It was almost Christmas when The Unwanted launched their first wave of attacks. The initial attack began in Los Angeles.

Shortly after they were taken care of and we all thought we were safe, another attack began, one at a scale no one could have imagined. Philadelphia was invaded. Two waves of Unwanted arrived in Philadelphia. The moment they arrived, they started shooting at everyone they saw. Many innocents were surprised by bullets flying left and right, it was horrible, especially during the holidays.

Part of the community gathered together to fight against these Unwanted. It started slow, because some were difficult to reach due to the bad weather and holiday season. Eventually, there were a sufficient number of people gathered from all families to get the job done.

The Unwanted weren’t expecting such resistance and just before it was year’s end, they decided to deploy another wave of their clones, this time at a different front. New York was their target. The strategy was to put pressure on those fighting them, which they succeeded. The pressure was definitely felt by the brave soldiers, but they didn’t give up. A few of them left Philadelphia and regrouped in New York to stand against the third wave of Clones, hopefully long enough for the main effort to clear out Philadelphia and consolidate in New York.

Christmas and New years day had passed, but the war against the Unwanted was still ongoing. After all the countless shots being exchanged, the Unwanted could feel their defeat nearing. Unfortunately, they had yet another surprise up their sleeves and went ahead and deployed another wave of clones, this time they chose Chicago as their target.

Luckily, by this time, Philadelphia was liberated and the soldiers quickly consolidated in New York fighting the third wave. At the same time, some went to Chicago holding off the final wave of attacks.

After New York was also being liberated, all soldiers regrouped in Chicago. Everyone was tired, it has been a long fought battle. But everyone was giving everything that's coming to the Unwanted; eagerly wanting to see the end of this endless battle, hopefully the last of it…..

Riding along on Isabella’s new bike, Guy rang the shiny bell he’d installed after allowing the paint to dry, he’d never painted a bike before, only houses, but was happy to oblige his magnificent crewleader on occasion.

Stepping off, Guy turned to the esteemed Don Nakamura, raised his arms and yelled ‘Yattaaaa’ hoping his gesture would be seen as a token of respect, Guy had admired the Don from afar but was disappointed in the whitewashing of events that he was hearing, he felt there was so much more to this and was perturbed by the Don’s take, Hiro was no fool that much everyone knew.

The Unwanted you say? More like The Invited if you ask me. These would be usurpers saw their opportunity and would’ve taken it, or at least a stronger foothold if it wasn’t for the hands across America response that ensued, I don’t think that necessarily would’ve been a bad thing either, some of the temporary CL’s that popped up showed more panache and effort than the incumbent leadership in place at the time and still to this very day, I mean kudos to those who bravely stepped forward and defended the vulnerable, sacrificing their time, money and bodyguards, it’s no small feat that has been achieved but at what cost? What lessons learned? Did anyone stop to ask why they were helping and whether it was the right course of action?

You couldn’t pay me to represent some of these asshats masquerading as would be leaders, causing utter embarrassment in the name of this thing of ours, I have nothing but contempt for those who take the responsibilities bestowed upon them so lightly and it also raises questions on those bestowing such honours, the dearth of quality some cities are facing is frightening. Alas much of this is above my paygrade and I don’t think I’d very much like the answers I’d receive if you catch my meaning.

Our antics have saw fit to awaken the gods and how this will come to pass is still to be seen but I hope future generations will take note on how not to conduct themselves at the very least, this has been a shameful time for all involved.

As usual Guy had said too much, he wished he’d taken Isabella’s training wheels off before speaking, he wasn’t sure if he’d make it back to his HQ quick enough, with a quick squeeze of the tyres and a ring of the bell Guy nodded to the Don, hoping he hadn’t taken offense and pedalled away like his life depended on it only briefly slowing to snatch a purse as he turned the corner.

When Isa had asked Guy to hook up her bicycle with his amazing painting, she had underestimated his work. She was beyond impressed. Each letter perfectly spelled out Sassy along the cross bar. The truth of the matter is Guy had impressed Isa the day he knocked on her door for work. She will never forget the brief encounter and without hesitation Isa invited Guy into life. As the days passed Isa realized this man was an absolute gem with his work ethics and wisdom.

What Isa was not impressed with is he let the world know I used training wheels on my bicycle. How insensitive! Isa went through so much trouble to perfectly affix a pretty pink and purple like cover that draped over the tail end of the bike. She turns to Dank and humbly asks for bike riding lessons without training wheels.
