fs grabbed a stack of papers off his desk and headed out of his HQ. He had a very important task today. He went down the street nailing the papers to each street corner, whistling as he went by. He did this for a while until he reached a spot with a good crowd about. He looked around and found an old crate lying next to a shop. He grabbed the crate, set it in the middle of the street, stood out and began shouting. Come on, come all, the time has come to bring back an old family tradition. Have you got a little fight in ya? Always pickin on the vendors as you grab their cash? Been working on those muscles to kill the time? Enjoy getting your ass kicked? Whatever the reason, it's the time to fight. Announcing FutureStealer's Golden Gloves 1 What is this you ask? Well I'll tell you, a good way to get out some of your aggression and win some money. We'll be pitting contestants against each other in a 6 round boxing match. Winners will move on, losers will not until we have a crowned champion. Now, before I lose you let's get to the important part, what will you win?
The winner will take home $5 million and 10 creds.
For the first edition of the Golden Gloves I will require no entry fee. I will supply the prize, however if anyone would like to contribute to the prize fund all funds will go to the winner. In the future we'll do entry fees to sweeten the pot. So, what do you do? It's easy, just let me know here if you're interested. Let us know your name, if you have any boxing name you go by, and maybe a bit of smack talk ;). Entries will close at 00:00:00 Jan 25th, or at 16 entries whichever comes first. May the best fighter win. We'll see you in the ring. |

Ksenia had just so happened to be walking behind her boss as he made his way outside the HQ. With a stack of papers in his hand he seemed to be in a rather hurry. So much so that he didn't even realize that he had dropped one of the sheets on his way out. Even stepping on it in the same process. Being her curious self, Ksenia scurried towards the paper, picking up it. Reading the words underneath the brown footprint on it. "Golden Gloves 1" She muttered under her breath. "Winner will take home $5million and gold..." Her eyes lit up. Now she hadn't ever been a boxer, generally it was way too formal for her. Way too many rules but she wasn't and had never shied away from a fight. There was something about it that just made her adrenaline peak, it was exhilarating and in fact it had been quite some time now that she had partaken in a good ole fashion brawl. Perhaps this was the prime opportunity to get back into the swing of things? The prize was a rather nice one but the real question was, would she be able to compete with the likes of the people likely to join? Or would she be stepping in the ring just to get her ass beat. Thinking on it for a moment, standing there in the hallway of the HQ. She must had been there for a bit, enough time that her boss was reentering the HQ. Noticing the paper in her hand, he let out a bit of a chuckle. "You gonna sign up? Gonna show me that boxing prowess of yours?" He spoke, almost in a joking sort of tone. "Actually..." She could see it wasn't the word he was expecting, his chuckle quickly cutting off. His eyes giving her a once over, knowing what she was going to say. "I believe I was partake in this competition of Golden Gloves... Do you have the room for me? Can I fight?" She could see him mulling it over, once again eyeing her up and down. "Might not be the best of ideas... you could get rather hurt, we don't have a women's division. So you would be up against some of toughest men in the nation. Not sure I would advise against it." Ksenia scoffed in his direction. Sure there was a chance things would end poorly but it was a risk she was willing to take. "No... you sign me up. I fight and I win, you understand?" She didn't mean to sound snippy and demanding but really that was just how she was. "Where do I sign?" |

Dawson was passing by right then - how lucky! - and heard FutureStealer announce his boxing event. The big truth that very few people knew was that Dawson's line had a boxing background. Even to this day, Dawson loved to watch a good boxing match and had an old bag hanging on his ranch house's porch, which he used to exercise and practice from time to time. The bag was patched in a few places, as more than once Dawson had gotten mad and ended up shooting the bag, but still. Anyway, Dawson heard the speech and was immediately interested. "FutureStealer, you can sign me up too!" |

I come from a long line of sporting men and sporty women and I am very happy to see that Mafia Sports is back in action. It's been too long without real conflict (in the ring) and there is nothing that brings people together better than bloodsports. Wellerman looks down at his own battered and weathered hands. Maybe it's not too late... I would like to enter the contest as well. I will of course be fighting under my moniker, The Falling Dutchman. |

I've already thrown hands with people already, why not throw some actual fists alongside it? I'd love to sign up for this little competition. I'll put my adversary into the ring this time around, "LameBeans". This way if he sucks massive balls, I wouldn't have to change my mindset about him! Happy to see the audience put together already. Maybe LameBeans might win a round or two. |

Well-dressed in a three-piece suit, walking around doing his usual to-do list for the day, 'Rob this, rob that, kill this, kill that', Luciano hears a familiar voice confront him as the mouthed words from FutureStealer's mouth utters, 'Boxing', reverbreated through his ear-drums, approaching as the crowd formulates around, Luciano takes in a deep-breath before talking, "You can sign me up, but-" Luciano takes out a cigar, as his right-hand man Craven appears with a knife cuts the tip of it, striking a match and inhaling a few puffs - on his last exhale, Luciano expels with a cloak of smoke and gravitas "When I win, don't be suprised." |

Polio knew something was happening as he hadn't seen FutureStealer so happy since he made Polio is right hand man. The boss was skipping about like no mans business the days leading up to this, so it was nice to finally find out what he was planning. The boss pinged him the sheet for the competition! Boom, i've been in training for something like this but i didn't know what i was training for. Polio explained Polio started growling like a dog and starts shouting his favourite motivation line Everybodys great when they are not tired, the champions are when they are tired, that's when the real champions come out, that's when the real dogs come out. So if you are going piss like a puppy then stay on the porch and let the big dogs eat Polio tosses $10 million and 10 credits into the prize pot sat on the end of the desk |

Ever since The Why by SassyPeach was opened to the public, Ian had been visiting the stadium to hone his fighting skills. He had heard about a fighting contest coming up and needed to be prepared for it. Today, Ian finally heard FutureStealer announcing the contest on the streets. He walked up to him after he was done and asked to be registered into it. "Ian Yu. Count me in!" |

After giving Ronnie-Kukuring a beatdown which would not have been out of place in the golden age of Mug Mandatory Detroit JohnKukhamIV (First of his name) was feeling confident. "Put me in Coach, I will batter people into drooling idiot status. By the end of this thing TheBeast will look like a genius in comparison to my vanquished opponent" |

Paul_Finch stepped forth confidently smiling. “Well, well, well, a boxing competition. One of the sports of kings as they say”. Paul rubbed his knuckles on his jacket. “Now it wouldn’t be fair to ruin this pretty little face of mine. However, luckily, I have a man to take my place. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Sniffler the Aristocratic Anteater”. Paul gestures to a crowd. The crowd part to reveal a giant anteater standing on his hide legs. Top hat on his head, a snazzy waistcoat, and no trousers to assert his dominance. He walked forward with a slight limp and flicked a cane out in front of him as he walked. His cape flowed gently in the wind behind him. The crowd stood stunned and shocked in silence. Who was this spiffing gent? Where was he from? What could he do with that nose? Oh, so many questions. Only time would provide the answers. For now, Sniffler stood beside Paul. He cleared his throat. “Good day to you all” He waved his cane towards the crowd. “Marvellous day isn’t it for a spout of pugilism? I wish to enlist in this stupendous skirmish. I pine for a bit of the ole rough and tumble.” Sniffler chuckled to himself. “Reminds me of my old college days. I look forward to exchanging verbal jabs with my foe prior to the commencement of the contest. I wish all competitors sporting chance.” Sniffler checked his pocket watch. “Oh, would you look at the time, I must be off. I have an engagement with a chum. Until we meet again” Sniffler raised his hat, nodded, and wandered off with Paul. |

I'm going to make this quick... I'm going to make this easy... The Peach is ready to fight. There was a cold wind coursing through the air as the sassiest of the stone fruits pounded his chest, letting everyone know that he had entered what some would call a primal zone. Walking over to where you were supposed to sign up, he placed his name on the piece of paper and then exited the area quickly. Why waste time trash talking when he didn't even know who his opponent would be yet? I'll be back when it's time to enter the ring. Until then, I've got more training to do. |

Within the crowd is the displaced Craven, his figure stands tall - hair slicked back with his undershirt tucked in halfway - Craven's attire seemingly rough and stubborn in his old ways - casual zipped jacket crossed with a white logo on his left side of his torso, with an accompanying polystyrene bottoms trackies, closing on his legs, up to a pair of shoes that lift him up 2 inches higher. He opens his mouth as part of his jaw slobbers along; "Ye' yous' can sign me up too, Imma' bit of a fighta', killa', warmachin' in the bed," Craven says, given a slight wink, as he puts his hands on his waist, feeling his holster, "If ya'in tha' ring with'me, i'll fuckin'av'ya - count on me word, my son" With that, Craven steps up towards FutureStealer, his large still bellows tall as the sun, though cloudy - emulates on the ground perfectly his silhouette round and defined. |
