fs was up at the crack of dawn and headed down to the docks.  He had rented an abandoned warehouse and spent a good chunk of changes to get a ring installed.  He hadn't had a chance to see the remodel so he was a little on edge.  He pulled open the front door of the building with a loud creak from the old metal door.  He looked to his right and flipped the switch for the lights.

Suddenly there was a roll of thunderous 'thumps' as the large overhead lights turned on to reveal a perfectly imperfect boxing ring surrounded by folding chairs.  It wasn't much, but it was exactly what he needed.  He scurried to get the place set up before the fights.  Before he knew it, it was time.

The building was packed, the fighters were ready, and fs had put on his finest suit.  He stepped up to the ring and grabbed the microphone.

Welcome welcome one and all!  I'm so excited to see all of you here and even more excited to see some carnage.  Now, I know you all didn't come all the way out here to see my beautiful face, so let's get this started!

First up we have Cheetara versus JohnKukhamIV.

Cheetara starts out a little slow, and JohnKukhamIV gets a few good hits in.  The second round is very slow with both sides seeming to need a breath, but Cheetara turns it up a bit in the third landing a few crucial jabs.  Once again, both opponents seem a little winded heading into the fourth, but JohnKukhamIV turns it around in the fifth.  Cheetara is definitely looking look a bit gassed going into the last round.  JohnKukhamIV fights a solid finish, and the fight ends with no knockdowns.  We're headed to a judges decision.

Wow! What an upset! JohnKukhamIV walks away with a win against Cheetara in the starting round.  We'll see you next time Cheetara, but we're on to the next fight.

Second fight is Isabella versus Ksenia.

As we start the fight both opponents seem a bit out of practice, however in the second Isabella hits her flow and lands a clean uppercut knocking Ksenia to the ground.  She's not down for long.  In the third we can see Ksenia was not pleased as she corners Isabella with a few shots to the stomach.  Isabella starts out very strong in the fourth taking Ksenia off her game, and continues a very strong fight into the fifth round.  As we head into the sixth Isabella is clearly slowing down a bit which gives a small window to Ksenia.  We end the match with one knockdown, but we're headed to judges decision.

What a good fight by Ksenia there, but Isabella takes it with a nice start.  Congrats.  We're on to fight number three.

Up next, SassyPeach versus Sniffler, representing Paul_Finch.

SassyPeach comes out of the gates very punchy, landing a few quick strikes to Sniffler.  But clearly that drains him as we head through the second, unfortunately it doesn't seem Sniffler has quite warmed up yet.  However in the third round Sniffler comes out re-energized and goes straight to the body of SassyPeach.  In the fourth SassyPeach comes out swinging with a clean right hook to Sniffler's chin, knocking him to the ground.  Clearly infuriated by this, Sniffler stands to his feet and precedes land a haymaker sending SassyPeach to floor right after him.  Both fighters, clearly winded, mostly kill time in the fifth.  SassyPeach gasping for air finds a nice last fight in the sixth, forcing Sniffler to the corner a few times.  However, we're headed to judges decision.

Wow, two knockdowns in the same round?  What a fight!  Fantastic job to both, congrats to SassyPeach.  Paul_Finch, you may need to find a new option for the next tourney.  But for now, we're on to the next fight.

Our fourth fight we have Dawson versus Tutte.

Dawson has clearly come to fight as he rushes right at Tutte, landing some crucial shots to the face as Tutte falls to the ground.  Tutte comes out in the second round much more prepared and counter attacks Dawson's initial moves sending Dawson to the mat.  The first two rounds have winded both fighters as they appear a bit sluggish in the third.  However, as we head to the fourth Dawson has rage in his eyes. He starts out by focusing on the body.  In the fifth he moves to mixing in a few shots to the head, finally leading to the sixth round where he comes out of the gate with a massive left hook.  Tutte hits the floor and does not stand back up.  We have a winner by knockout!

Our first knock out!  How exciting!  Great work Dawson, but we've got more fights to go.  On to the next one.

Now fighting are luciano_lucky versus LameBeans, alter ego of CoolBeans

luciano_lucky has clearly been preparing as he comes out landing a flurry of punches and seemingly loses no stamina as he continues this trend in the second.  Two straight rounds has taken a lot out of him and LameBeans still hasn't shown up to the fight.  In the fourth luciano_lucky comes out with another set of quick jabs, but this seemingly has awoken LameBeans.  In the fifth he corners luciano_lucky and gets some good shots in.  LameBeans ends the sixth with a nice combo, but we're going to the judges decision.

What a good fight, luciano_lucky is looking very fast.  Our next fight is looking like another good one.

Now we've got Craven versus Cirilla

After tapping gloves, Craven steps back and gets a few good shots in.  Cirilla starts the second much better returning the blows to Craven.  They both take a step back in the third, but in the fourth Cirilla finds her form again getting some nice jabs in.  Craven really picks it up in the fifth, making Cirilla look very uncomfortable.  He continues the push in the sixth and finishes strong.  We're headed to the judges.

What another close fight, an absolute treat.  Nice job Craven, we'll see you in the next round.  We've got another good one coming up.

Our seventh fight is Polio versus SilentAssassin

Polio shows his grit with a few big hits to start the fight.  This clearly gasses him as SilentAssassin picks up in the second, dodging blows and landing nice counters.  This continues in the third as SilentAssassin's dexterity outshines Polio's strength.  In the fourth after Polio tries to land a haymaker, SilentAssassin counters with an uppercut which puts Polio to the ground.  After wiping the blood from his nose Polio gets back up, laughing as he stands.  Polio gets a few big hits to the body in the fifth, and a few moments after the sixth round starts Polio finally lands the hit had been trying to land. SilentAssassin is knocked out cold.

Wow, what a turn around! Polio coming in hot with the big guns, insane.  Hopefully our last match of the night can live up to that hype.

Finally, we have IANYU aka Ian Yu, and Wellerman aka The Falling Dutchman

Ian Yu shows his preparation with a quick side step, counter punch combo knocking The Falling Dutchman to the ground quickly in the first.  Ian Yu goes on the offensive in the second and lands multiple blows to the body.  After the start of the third The Falling Dutchman seems to have a new plan, finding good returns and landing nice hooks.  In the fourth we can see that The Falling Dutchman's change has worked as Ian Yu seems confused.  The fifth round starts with The Falling Dutchman dodging a punch only to land one of their own sending Ian Yu to the dirt.  The last round is tight with The Falling Dutchman getting a good set of hits right as the final bells ding.  We go to the judges.

What a finish, The Falling Dutchman really showed his patience there and drove home a great win.  Wow, I can't believe we've made it to the end of round one!  I hope you all have had as much fun as I have.  Finish your drinks and close out with your bookies before you leave. As not a single drop of sweat is seen, even with the blistering lights from the stadium, Luciano in blue shorts enters into where the journalists preside, "Luciano! Luciano! With a smashing win, what do you have to say to your other opponants?!"

Luciano gleams over with his stable structure and glimpses a response, "There are no opponents, whoever's next should understand that - I'm winning this, and there isn't -anything- -anyone- can do to stop me," Luciano, slowly bows out, going to change into his normal attire before saying, "LA, be ready - we're coming home"

A few days later, with another meeting of Journalists,

"Luciano, with your ties to your next opponent, will we see a remorseful side of Luciano? Will you take it easy on your close business partner?" As a flash of a camera sparks, Luciano in his well-tailored suit replies,

"He is a good earner, he takes care of my workers - but," Luciano takes out a cigar, cutting the tip as one of his associates lights it for him, "I'm going to end him in the ring" Taking in a few puffs of his cigar, the flashes of the cameras act as Flash-bangs, yet his smirk and cold eyes are all that are seen.

The "press" are in full attendance. We have representatives from the mafia herald, the mafia harold, the Gwarble Garble & representing the powerhouse of The Coconut Chronicle is Coconut Randy. They all squabble & scream their questions at JohnKukhamIV (First of his name)

"That looked pretty impressive John?"

"SHUT UP I AM TALKING NOW. Sure was easy. GFC Cheetara was more like a pussy  kitten than I was expecting. That isn’t a question...NEXT"

"You have Isabella up next, how to do you think that will go?"

"Given the fact Las Vegas has no work available for a fine man of culture such as myself, I will go to work kicking the mortal shit out of Isabella. Given I have already defeated the GFC of Vegas this underling will prove no problem. I will be one step closer to the prize money to fund what everyone is coming to know as orgy city"

"Who is your inspiration JohnKukhamIV?"

"Coconut Primo Carnera a former heavy weight champion of the world. No he isnt my inspiration, the Gorilla who tore him limb from limb is who I base my fighting style (& the rest of my life) on..."

"Did you see Tutte get knocked the fuck out earlier?"

"I did indeed, it was excellent entertainment. That’s what happens when a noodle armed rube trains for 1.5h before a fight...I can only hope the severe brain trauma inflicted, can in some freak of nature way, make him more pleasant & coherent"

The reporters are in a frenzy as the chant of KUKHAM...KUKHAM...KUKHAM rings out into the night from the millions of adoring fans. 
 

Just an update. For the health of our fighters (and my voice) we will be making a change to give a day in between fights.  We'll be back tomorrow with the Quarterfinal round. 

After the match Isa extends a hand to shake the hand of her opponent. It was a good match and one Isa barely won. With that thought in mind Isa knew she had her work cut out for her if she was going to win her next match with JohnKukhamIV.

Immediately she knew what must be done to help her keep her eye on the big prize. It was not enough to have memories of Rocky Marciano's moves. She needed to research his training routine. She was certain he must have had a trainer. 

Then next day Isa woke up and dressed appropriately for a run through the park. When she arrived back to the office, she asked Ted to find her the best trainer he could locate and tell them all expenses paid. 

"See you in the ring Mr.  JohnKukhamIV" 

Frank walks into the gym and begins to hit the heavy bag with a left and a right hook. he then walks over to see the fight card and sees isabella is on there then asks " can i get a ticket please"

Bruised, sore and slightly bloody; Ksenia made her way back to her corner. The bell had rung and the judges announcement of the winner had been made. She had lost... it wasn't one of her proudest moments but she gave it all she had, leaving it all out there in the ring. Sure she wasn't thrilled being on the losing side of things but Isabella was a fierce competitor and she had bested her today...

She was someone that deserved her respect. Putting her ego aside, Ksenia made her way over to Isabella's corner. She looked tired but had that victory smirk plastered on her face. The same one that she would have had on her face if she managed to pull off the upset but alas thus was not the case.

Using her teeth to rip at the tape, giving herself enough room to wiggle her hand out of the boxing glove. Getting it ready to extend towards her but for now keeping it down to her side. She needed to say a few things before doing such. "You... damn... could have went a little easier on me." She said with a chuckle. "Good fight... respect to you, now go out there and show those guys who is boss. I will be rooting for you." With that she extended her hand, shaking hers before walking out of the ring.

Knowing all too well the rest of the field was in for a rude awakening. That woman was going places... upwards.
