Chris makes an impromtu visit to the streets. It has been a while since he has made an appearance, and so the millions, and millions of the Rock's fans are no doubt anxious to hear what the People's Champ has to say.

"Finally, the Rock has returned... to the streets. Yes its the Rock  the Peothe's Champ here to bring you all to the learning tree. You see the Rock hasn't been as vocal as he has been in the past, the Rock hasn't been as visible as he has been in the past. The simple fact of the matter is that the Rock has been busy, busy with stuff in the old Country, and that is what has kept the Rock away.

But the Rock hasn't been completely away, the Great One has been keeping an eye on things, keeping an eye on his beloved streets, the People's streets, and what the Rock has seen has disturbed him. Disturbed him more that the Undertaker's 33lb head, or Kurt Angle gulping down milk. The Rock has seen jabronis running their mouths and not knowing their roles up and down the People's streets.

They are complaining about a lack of respect, they are complaining that people are taking their M1911a1's  pilishing them up real good, turning them side ways and sticking them straight up their candy asses. So now we are at the learning tree, let the Rock educate you on how things are.

This is the Mafia, La Cosa Nostra, Camorra, Organised crime. It is not the Samaritans, it is not the Young Men's Christian Association, it is not the Salvation Army. We are not here to hold your hand, we don't owe you anything. Your life outside of our Organisations has no meaning, and the Rock means NO meaning. If you want to live on the fringes of society and not join us, you are free to do so, but you are entitled to no protection, any one can check your candy ass into the smackdown hotel, and no one will bat an eyelid. Now, if you want to belong, if you want that protection  know your damned role and join a family. Play by their rules and they will protect you. Run your mouth and expect to pay the piper  and the Rock doesn't mean Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Likewise with journalists. We are criminals, we are not civilised society. Run your mouth and expect to be clipped. There are no Constitutional ammendment protections for the freedom of the press in La Costa Nostra. Again, if you want to run your mouth and call out James Baxter, James Caan, James Brown, George Brown or George Baxter the soup man, expect to pay the price.

Now the Rock likes the Press, the Rock respects the Press, but if you want to run your mouth and talk crap like some Minkey's nipple, the Rock won't protect the press.

So its put up or shut up time. Its your choice to make. Sit in obscurity, or run your mouth, no one can stop you, but don't come running to the streets, the people's streets crying like Stephanie McMahon's gynaecologist, waaa waaa waaa my daddy, my daddy when the bullets start flying. If you smellllah... what The Rock... is cookin'

I found this speech a little hard to listen to and understand exactly what was being said, more than likely a product of the amount of unnecessary chutzpah contained within.  Can I presume that in layman's terms, you mean the following @Chris_Vaughan?

1. It's important to remember that there are consequences for your actions, especially in a criminal organization like La Costa Nostra. If you choose to publish articles that criticize or call out high-ranking members, be prepared to face the consequences. Threatening the press won't solve anything, it will only create more conflict and chaos.
2. It's time to make a choice, either stay silent and stay out of trouble or take the risk and speak out. Chris_Vaughn understands the importance of the press, but he won't protect those who choose to engage in reckless and dangerous behavior. So, it's up to you to decide what you want to do.
3. Freedom of the press is a valuable right, but it's not a guarantee in La Costa Nostra. If you choose to exercise this right, be prepared to face the consequences. Chris_Vaughn won't protect those who choose to cause trouble, but he does respect those who choose to stay silent and avoid conflict.

Hopefully this sums up the above in a more concise way so that there can be no confusion about what you are trying to say.  I would be incredibly interested to hear JamesBaxter thoughts on this little speech of yours.  I am almost certain he will have some unadulterated, concise feedback for us all.

Hello, it’s me Tim! A Kuku! Very sad to see a speech like this! From the people’s champion.

Some of us may be in the mafia, like me Tim, a capo! But most of the people being killed today are not! They have joined no family, taken no oath! They are civilians! Journalists! This thing of ours is supposed to have a code of honour!

How is this even happening? It’s current era 1950! Only a few years ago we Americans crossed the ocean to fight great evil! The fascists! Their leaders thought themselves the people’s  champion too! 

Me Tim, think you The Rock are wrong! Respectfully.

No one should have to conform to our mafia rules unless they have taken the secret mafia oath! Like me Tim, a capo! The streets should be free, for all expressions! America deserves a free press! What is happening now isn’t mafia, it’s tyranny! Take off that brown shirt Rock!

Tyranny never stops with just a inch. All must stand and be brave in the face of it! We must all be Kukus and Farehams in the face of such evil!

Tim takes a sip from his cigarette and bounced his mafia basketball.

"Maybe what we need is to have a talk with the water supply company. I hear some states are putting Flouride in the water". 

"Maybe, just maybe, if we all had some Special K added to our diets, no one would give a rat's fuck, about anything. We could live off of rainbows and joy, and take in all the street puppies and junk yard dogs. Who knows"?

Is this a metaphor? Ketamine wondered to himself. He was pretty good at metaphors, especially when his mind was soaring like a kite.

"Naw, this is the Mafia. We have our own code. Civilians don't seem to honor ours, but let them have cake. I like cake". 

Ketamine set out to talk with the local Bakers instead. 

fs had been hanging around the HQ a bunch after all of the fights, but he had continued to see a bustle in the streets.  Deciding to go on his morning coffee run he walked by as Chris was giving his speech, so he stopped to give it a listen.  After hearing everything the Rock had to say, he decided to step forward and have a chat.

Chris, my friend, I appreciate you coming forward and giving your thoughts on the current situation and how things are expected to be around here.  I would, however, like to offer a different opinion.  And I do understand that not everyone will agree with me.

My family has been on these shores for a very long time, I can't claim to have notes on all of their memories but I do know this conversation continues to be a persistent one.  Long has it been stated that omerta, being hard nosed, and heads down is the way to be.  But, can I ask, where has that gotten us?  Short tempers with an inability to let childish grievances go leads to unnecessary fights and deaths.  Maybe it's time that we take a breath.  I understand we're all mafioso's here, but that doesn't mean that our entire being has to be constantly looking for something to be mad about.  Sometimes constantly looking for monsters gives you hallucinations of the real thing.

As for journalists specifically, I too feel that this is a dangerous path to potentially live on.  Journalists are often targeted for telling truth, or making up sources.  Either is a tricky line, but again from the opposite perspective I think we can find some ground too.  Would you give value to a report on Big Foot being spotted in the streets, or a baby born that is half alien?  The stories of a tabloid are just that.

Maybe it's time we breathe.  Maybe it's time that we stop giving priority to being angry.  Or not, what do I know.

Godfather FutureStealer, how unexpected of you to attend the Rock's little speech. Don't get the Rock wrong, he is not advocating the killing of these individuals. The Rock is simply saying that if they choose the life they have, then their children shouldn't be out here complaining if a bullet finds their old man. The Rock has seen the local wannabe's trying to drag him into their discussions, but the Rock is like... well a rock in the river, he sits implacable whilst the water flows around him. Honestly, as if the Rock could ever have been friends with a Cuckoo, the Rock has never even met the jabroni. The Rock has a great Lawyer, and has filed many restraining orders against these individuals, which keeps his mail box blissfully clean, and cuts down on unnecessary notifications from the local telegram company.

This is one compressible speech. There is nothing sad about it in any way shape or form. The only sad and pathetic issue I see is anyone disagreeing otherwise. My family has been on these shores for more years than I want to admit. And this here is a superb topic.  La Cosa Nostra is not up for debate. 

Instead, what has taken place on these shores is some feel that they have carte blanche to get, do, or say what the fuck they feel. I like a good newspaper to read over with my morning coffee or after a long day's work. Preferably with the morning coffee. I got a hunch this is not solely about journalist per say. It feels more like La Cosa Nostra is the topic at hand. And if I am correct journalist have no place in our world. Especially if they want to sling shit whilst they sit on a mafia family insulting us as a whole. Even though they may mention a name or two they are insulting YOU. 

I fully agree everyone is entitled to their opinion, I got to say these streets are not a place to disrespect and insult. In a family or not. Take the shit elsewhere or keep to yourself. I must ask what is really happening when we cannot uphold the true meaning of La Cosa Nostra?
