Ulamog sits quietly, patiently, silently in the corner booth of a speakeasy. He seems to everyone as tho he's drunk and keeping to himself while drowning his sorrows, but what he is really doing, is watching, learning, observing..... Recruiting. He notices people like SlimThug loudly jabbering on about his illegal activity. Bragging about what he and his family had been up to. He sees GunmanJack standing by the entrance pretending to be a newcomer not wanting to draw much attention to himself but also notices the waitress bringing him a glass every 20 minutes, almost on the dot as he slips her some cash. He sees several people that he does not recognize feeling the place out. They may be cops, they may be low-level gangsters casing the place, or they could just be some thirsty locals. Them, ALL of them, he does not care about. Ulamog is looking for 3 specific people. He does not know them by name or by face, But he will know them when he sees them. |

As the night goes on, Ulamog notices a strange individual slumped over the end of the bar, he recognises him as the famed JamesBaxter of Bella Vista, Philadelphia. Noticing him begin to talk to himself, mumbling incoherently as if he were communicating with spirits, Ulamog wonders what the deal is with this guy. The citizens milling around the gentleman start to take notice, but they do not approach him. They know better than to mess with someone who seems to be speaking to ghosts. They know situations like this can ESCALATE quickly. Suddenly, the slumped figure seems to shift into......something else. His face contorts and he lets out a long, almost wolflike howl. "Friends, I am here" JimBaxter exclaims, starting to speak louder, claiming to hear the voices of the dead while he is sleeping. He begins to share the messages he is receiving, some of which seem to shock those around him. People begin to edge away from him, afraid of what he might say next, they are CLEARLY DISTURBED by his behaviour. Almost as suddenly as JimBaxter apparently appeared, in the blink of an eye, his face contorts once more but the cry this time, more akin to small plains animal being eaten alive by a lion escapes from his throat. I am James, and I think everyone needs to calm down. I apologise for JamesBaxter and Jim's behaviour; we cant help it, suffering from multiple personality disorder and all. "All I can ask for is your understanding and I promise to keep a low profile for the rest of the night." Despite the strange behavior of James, JamesBaxter and JimBaxter, Ulamog continues to observe the speakeasy, searching for the three people he is looking for. He knows that they are out there and that he will find them eventually. Could it possibly be though, that the three people he is looking for are James, Jim and James? WHO KNOWS, ONLY TIME WILL TELL. |

After sitting at the bar for hours drinking all of their whiskey. Nagatchi decides he needs something more. As he sits at the bar trying to fight back the drunken hiccups, he over hears some folks talking about illegal moonshiners. "Did you hear about the illegal moonshine operations at the next bar over?" Yes the other man replied explaining how tasty and potent the liquor was. Over hearing this Nagatchi decides he wants to check this new drink out and stumbles over to where he overheard the two gentleman describe. As he walks in and request a bottle of the fine illegal liquor they unfortunately inform him that they have run out and he will have to wait until they make their next batch. |

Ulamog notices JimBaxter causing a scene. Not particularly the type of person that would be suited for this venture. If he cant control himself then how will he be able to keep a secret. Ulamog notices Nagatchi moving around the bar asking questions. And asking the wrong people. He clearly seems interested in the operation but if he cant calm his nerves and stop being so jumpy then he wont fit in with the operation. Ulamog slowly sips his drink as he continues to watch and observe the patrons of the speakeeasy. |

Ulamog walks up to the bar and pulls the bartender aside and quietly but sternly says to him, "If you can find some trustworthy people that want to make a lot of money, tell them that I will be conducting interviews at that table", as he points to the large table in the corner. "But don't send anyone my way unless you would trust them with your son Caleb and you wife Lilly's lives. Otherwise..... Well, let's just say that you better trust them before you send them to me. Do we understand each other, Joshua??" Joshua, the bartender, clearly shaken by this encounter with Ulamog, replies, "Yes Sir. I know many fine and trustworthy people that come into this establishment. Not ALL of them are very good at keeping their mouths shut but I promise you, Sir, that I will only send you the best. And I swear that on MY life...." Joshua leans closer to Ulamog and whispers "Not theirs, Sir. Please. Not theirs." Ulamog slowly but, again sternly, reaches up and grabs Joshua's shoulder. "Then you best make sure you don't send me any riffraff." Ulamog pats Joshua on the shoulder, stands up, and walks casually out of the speakeasy. |
