Cluemaster breaks into the wrong house Started by: Cluemaster on Feb 03, '23 19:11

Cluemaster was sitting in his car watching from the street. He looked out seeing the streaks of rain go sideways across his window. He has been here for an entire hour, this is not something he is used to. Any respecting mobster knows that you only wait fifteen minutes, but for him it was worth the wait. He was dressed in his (fanciest) suit he could find in his closet. Clue was not used to going out, he is a homebody and barely spoke to anyone outside of business practices. He loaded his .357 revolver, one shot at a time, and placed it in his pocket. He then finally saw a family of four leave out the front door, getting into their black four door Cadillac.

When they began to take their turn around the corner of the street Clue was putting on his black gloves and he slowly extended out of his vehicle. Now completely out, he looked around the street for a moment seeing nobody in sight. He checked his watch setting it for fifteen minutes to make sure he wouldn't stick around for too long. Walking around the side of the house, he approached the garage and saw a small wooden gate. He moved closer, moving inches away, and picked the lock in less than a minute. The gate slowly being pushed open, he walked to the backyard seeing a dog barking at him by a small little wooden doghouse. But Clue was no amateur, he had a steak with some knock out pills added to it. Before PETA gets on me, it is not hurting him, it's delicious and he will be up in less than an hour. Clue threw it and the dog immediately forgot he was there. Clue went to the closest door which was in the kitchen. He found the key under a rock nearby opened it and closed the door behind him.

Now inside, Clue began to look around. He was not here for the surface area shit, he was here for a reason. Revenge is something Cluemaster loved. This house is owned by Captain John Jones, a man who has been targeting the Stygian Company for months now, even going after Clue himself. Clue was sent to make sure he knew that the family did not appreciate that. But what was waiting for him inside, was something that would haunt him for years after.

Cluemaster began to walk farther into the house, but as soon as he did he was hit by a white smoke that made him cough violently for a couple of seconds. He hit his chest for a moment, as blood spilled onto the rug below him. Clue grabbed the wall for a moment and stabilized himself. He looked around as the room began to shift in an awkward and unnatural direction. But to add to his horror, the sounds of a vehicle approaching the house. Clue quickly ran through the house, finding a closet to hide in. Clue knew he could never tell anyone about this, this is beyond embarrassing. Especially HazelNoir, she would make his life a living hell. But now that he thinks to himself for a moment, they should have not been back this fast. Maybe they forgot something?

Then the noise of the door lock being shimmed and the door swings open letting in a small gust of wind. FUCK this is beyond bad. But instead of hearing something normal, a bizarrely evil voice is heard by this man's voice. "Another visitor to our home family!" Now Clue knows he was set up, this is all wrong. They must have seen him or double tracked and saw him enter. But then it gets worse the sound of multiple footsteps and the sound of a gun being loaded. By the sound of it, it's a double barrel shotgun. Not good, especially since he can barely see five feet in front of his face. The door SLAMS shut as the whole family is inside. Jones begins to speak "Split up we gotta find this bastard, he is hiding!" This man did not sound like a police captain, this man was deranged. He sounded like a psycho, and the family was apart of his madness. They all split up and Clue made sure to calm down his breathing. Clue opened the closet door for a moment, before he moves into a nearby room. He closes the door, and looks around seeing a guest room. In the room was a large bed, a wardrobe, and a small bathroom.

Searching the room, Clue finds nothing of significance but can see multiple old blood spots on the ground, bed and even on the wardrobe itself. He guessed this is where a murder has occurred in the past. But before he can do anything else, he can hear the movement of footsteps outside his door. He quickly hides under the bed, and as soon as he does the door swings open. Walking in is the son who is currently carrying a cleaver. Clue knows he can take this little punk if he can get a small opening, and Clue shortly see's that occur. He goes to check the bathroom, giving time for Clue to get up and got behind him. Clue with his revolver on his hand slams the butt of the gun to his head sending him forward as his head bounces off the tub. He begins to shake for a second before Clue goes above and continues to hit him with the gun before he is no longer alive. Clue stops hiding the body in the tub and wipes some sweat off his brow. This is the first time he has killed a child, but if he didn't he knew he would not be alive. It was a necessary evil

Cluemaster opens the door for a moment and moves to the backyard. There he sees the Mom and the daughter. The Mom is carrying a pistol that she shoots at him, which narrowly misses his head and hits the wall behind him. He ducks behind cover, as the daughter runs over toward him. Clue takes out his revolver and waits for the daughter to round the corner. As soon as she does BANG, the daughter falls to the ground lifeless. The Mom screams "NOOOOOOO" she then goes into a fury shooting the rest of her clip at me. As soon as I hear her try to reload I get up and fire two shots. One hits her in the side and the other in the neck, as she falls to the ground. Three of the four weirdos have been dispatched and the only one left the father the reason he was here in the first place. Clue regains his composure by smoking his cig. Clue feels as a teardrop hits him, and he looks up to see that it's beginning to rain. He makes his way to the front shooting a bullet into the sky. He waits for a moment before he hears the anger of Jones as he slams open the front door.

"A mobster of course, one of my favorite type of victims." Cluemaster dives out of the way as the shotgun fires in his direction, and now fully reloaded he fires back hitting him in the torso. As he goes to reload for the second shot, Clue shoots the last of the clip into him, hitting him in the chest and finally the head which drops him. In a pure annoyed rage, Clue moves over grabbing the shotgun and bashing the captain's brains in. Clue drops the shotgun, leaves out the way he entered and back to his vehicle.

Now inside drenched, tired and confused Cluemaster turns on the car and drives away. Later he hears on the radio about Captain Jones, his wife, his daughter and his son found dead by a patrolling cop. The news is offering a reward for any information on the killer or killers. Cluemaster turns off the radio and sighs in relief. That horror is over.... or so he thought

One Week Later

Cluemaster was hanging out at a local diner where he sipped on some black coffee and chomped down on some bacon. He looked out the window, seeing a bunch of people leaving the diner and heading to their cars. He sighed for a moment, remembering how he took his high school sweetheart here about a decade before this. But then he began to listen to the nearby radio which was on the local news station.

News Reporter: We have some new news regarding the murders of the Jones family that occurred a week ago and people have been going crazy about this. We have had people give us information that the family was the Crime Butchers who saw themselves as would be vigilantes. The bodies of mobsters, greasers, and local gangsters have been piling up in the river for years now. Cops have yet to comment on this, but people have been saying it was the work of serial killers who they suspect were the Jones family. We will continue giving you some more information as we receive it.

Cluemaster gulps down too fast and begins to choke for a moment. He knew this was too easy and he quickly looks around. He sees a man reading a newspaper. Clue then thinks to himself that this man has been here for a suspicious amount of time. Why did he only order some coffee? Clue then see's a middle aged woman with blonde hair who was staring at him and looks away. Could these be them? Or maybe some FBI agents? Either way, Clue knew it was his time to leave.

Clue got up from his booth, leaving some money on the table, and began to leave. As he did this he could see the woman put down the newspaper to look straight into his eyes. Yup, he knew it they are on his tail. He quickly darted out the side door as quickly as his legs could take him and to his vehicle. But before he could, two black Fords were waiting in either direction. Yeah this is a setup, they must be here for him. Did he leave some evidence of his crime, or was he possibly seen by a neighbor? It was no time to think about the possibilities, but it was hard to not do so. Clue quickly began to go to the forest behind the diner, which prompted the agents to get out of their cars and begin to chase him.

FUCK! Cluemaster was not in the mood for a chase, but here he is. Sprinting through a large bush, he split in an opposite direction trying to cause the agents to misplace where he is. He made his way down a small hill, where he hid behind a tree for a few moments. He then silently made his way around the other side before he came face to face with a suit wearing man. Fuck he must have gone the other way around, and Clue did not notice him. Clue reached for his gun as the agent did and he fired before the agent could. BANG

Clue quickly moved back up the hill and towards his vehicle hoping he had enough time to get out of there. He made it to his car to have a bunch of gunfire break out behind him, shattering both of his windows, as he ran around to the other side for cover. Clue knew he was lucky to be alive at this point, and that he needed to be more aware. Now with his revolver in his hand he fired a couple of rounds back at them before he took cover once again. Clue steadied his breathing as he had more round left in the chamber and he saw an agent moving from cover to cover. He fired aiming a foot in front, catching him and dropping him to the concrete. Clue didn't bring any spare ammo and knew his only chance out of this was to drive. Clue took his chance, jumping in his vehicle and slamming on the gas. His car SLAMMING  through the nearby railing, and onto the nearby street. Clue looked behind seeing the agents all jumping in their own cars, giving him a few seconds but in hindsight is not long at all. He took a quick right, going down another street as he headed into the city. He knew a nearby garage he could use to get rid of the car....

Cluemaster took a few more turns finally showing up to the garage and ready to change up his car. He ran in seeing an older Irish gentleman in Navy overalls, with a welding helmet on. Without speaking any words, they go to the back and see a selection of different vehicles. Clue not being too picky at the moment sees a 1941 Chrysler Town & Country car. Seeing that it looks as ordinary as he needs. Clue chooses that and waits for a few minutes before he leaves. He of course pays the man for his services which is a few grand, but worth every penny.

Driving out, he looks both ways making sure he is not driving out to another trap. But not seeing as much, Clue drives back to his mansion which was in Paradise. Pulling up, he drives into the driveway and exits. Taking all of his tools, he goes to the garage and puts them away. But as soon as he enters, one of his toolboxes moved maybe a few inches. Clue put his stuff down slowly before grabbing his revolver and aiming in front of him as he moves to the door. He slowly opens it, going through the hallway and into the main room. Seeing the luxurious white couch, everything seemed to be in order. Clue still not sure, put his revolver away but kept his hand on it. Clue proceeds to search every room, making sure he is truly alone. But then a loud SMASH is heard in an adjacent room, and Clue takes out his revolver once again. But before he can do anything he feels something smashes into his head and he falls unconscious on the ground.

Cluemaster wakes up with a throbbing deafening pain on the side of his face, as he feels the blood trickle down his forehead. He looks around seeing a small darkened room, where all he can see is someone standing in front of him. “Well, you have awoken. Finally!” Clue saw a man who stood in front of him who resembled the former police captain. But instead of a human what looked at him was mere flesh on something that was dead. Surrounding him were his two children, who looked as much like corpses as he did. They SCREAMED in Clue’s face as he closed his eyes for a moment. As he opened them a wrench was smashed across his face as blood fly off his face. He is finally on the other side of gruesome torture, maybe this is punishment for years of being a ruthless mobster. He could see the light, which he quickly realized was just coming from a nearby lamp.

1 hour later

Cluemaster passed out from the pain, waking up some time later. This time to an empty, completely dark room. This was his one chance to get out of here and Clue took this. He tried everything to get out, and saw his chance. He decided to knock over the lamp which caused it to fall to the ground. Using the candle wax, he was able to slip out of his cuffs and he began to look around the room for the key. He could not find one, and it was impossible to look through the shelf.

But something that brought pure horror to Clue, is he saw old blood stains across the room along with occult writings across the walls. He then looks down around his former chair, seeing he was in a pentagon carved into the ground with blood. On the corners of it, was candles that give a little light to the room. But he didn’t have time to do anything, as he heard footsteps. So he quickly sat back down in his chair, hoping he can act well enough to not act suspicious. Walking down was the captain who is now carrying a book, which looks ancient and full of evil. He begins citing things that Cluemaster can simply not understand. But then the whole basement begins to shake, as Clue closes his eyes for a second and opening it. His jaw drops as he see’s what can be described as a demon that appears behind him. Then the demon’s arm goes through the Captain’s torso as he throws him through the door. Clue was so shocked with this, he almost didn’t see the key to his cuffs on the ground a foot in front of his face. Clue quickly grabs it, opening his handcuffs and running up the basement through the broken door. Cluemaster runs through the house as he see’s the other members of the house are getting brutally murdered.

Cluemaster makes it outside, seeing the abandoned house behind him. Where is he? Clue has never seen this area in his life. No matter, he needed to keep moving but before he does, coming out the front door was the demon he saw before. Covered in flame, as a devilish scream comes out from it. Clue ran as fast as he could, with the demon sprinting after him. Clue took a quick left, going down another street and seeing the first real building. The building he actually knew, it was an Loan Office owned by an associate of the family. He ran through the front door, covered in sweat and blood to the aw’s of some customers inside. But before he could utter a single word, he passed out and woke up back at his house. Cluemaster sighed in relief as he finally got some good sleep as he drifted off in his large bed.
