fs picked out a special deep blue suit for the night.  He put it on and tightened his tie.  He could hear the crowd roaring in the back office, it was the loudest he had ever heard.  He finished his coffee before heading out the door to face the people.

Good evening one and all!  Wow, what a great turn out we have tonight! Clearly a lot of your are excited to see who will come out on top of the Chicago Showdown tonight.  We've got a crew leader fighting one of her own associates, but I don't think either fighter will be holding anything back tonight.   Well, I know why you're all here so I won't hold out any longer.  Let's get this started!

Our only fight of the night is Vala versus KieranMoore in a special 10-round championship fight!

Both fighters bump gloves and the bell rings, we're off.   Vala starts out strong with some clean body shots and nice counters.  After the break Kieran re-positions himself in the second round.  As Vala comes in for shots he takes a step back and counters with his own punch.  In the third Kieran continues on strong, landing a big right hook with a few moments left in the round.  Both fighters are a bit off in the fourth and neither can seem to find their footing.  The fifth, however, shows a marked turn around.  Both fighters are back on pace, but Kieran is slightly ahead with his movement.  Vala comes out on the offensive to start the sixth round.  She pushes Kieran into the corner and begins an onslaught of shots starting with the body and ending with a left hook that sends Kieran to the ground.  The ref comes forward to count down, but only gets about 3 ticks in before Kieran is back on his feet.  This has clearly set him back, however, as in the seventh round Vala is still in firm control.  This continues into the eighth round, where we see Vala dictating the pacing by forcing Kieran into uncomfortable positions.  The ninth round starts out much closer.  Kieran has had a change in strategy and is now moving around the ring much more.  The new speed and movement has confused Vala, and Kieran takes advantage.  After a quick hop to the right, he ducks a right hook from Vala and returns with an uppercut of his own.  Blood spews from Vala's nose as she falls to the mat.  The ref begins counting down but just about as soon as he starts Vala is making her way back up.  She wipes the blood from her nose and gives Kieran a smile.  The tenth round is very close, with both fighters trying to claim the belt.  With a few seconds left in the round Kieran makes a move and hits a clean combo of head to body back to the head.  It's not enough to finish Vala, as the final bell rings and we're going to the judges for the call.

What an amazing fight.  You both put on an incredible show.  You really gave the crowd their money's worth on this one.  But we have a new Golden Gloves Champion.  Please join me in congratulating KieranMoore, your Golden Gloves 2 champion!  Your prize winnings will be sent to you shortly.
