Carl takes a wander down the street. It is a fine Spring day. Its not overly warm, more fresh, but the sun is shinning and the birds are singing. Things had been good for a while. He was looking dapper, wearing his new Tweed waistcoat and jacket, nice modern haircut, just oozing raw sex appeal, even Kuku and Spike would have to admit that much. Life as a civilian was really good. Sure someday you might die. Someone might want to take the risk of shooting you as a legitimate target, but then, the odds were better staying unsponsored than joining a crew. Join a crew and some asshole was guaranteed to sign your death warrant, periodically purging others just to keep their lazy asses on top. Sure, being active and developing your city, and killing to keep that dream alive was understandable, but killing just to keep your own fat, miserable ass alive, whilst your city rotted around you was truly reprehensible. But, it was a nice day, so Carl decides to sing a merry tune as he continued his walk down the street.
