Roya was walking the streets of Detroit and noticed that it was lacking street vendors. She missed the smells of hot dogs, crepes and popcorn. Roya already had a couple of enterprises in her hometown, but she never owned a street stand. She decided to open a skewer BBQ one! She bought a taco stand in Bricktown that the owner was happy to get rid of, since he sucked and it wasn't getting many customers. She cleaned it and put some good stools around it. She bought a small char-griller. She hired a young girl to help her. Everything was set, except for the menu, which she worked on:

She glueded the menu to the front of the stand. The tubes of homemade sauces were arranged around the stand for everyone to pick up, if they wanted. Roya started grilling. Soon the smoke started to rise and all you could smell on that street was the delicious scent of BBQ grilling. She waited for the first customer.

Ebony Jones played with a fennel seed between her teeth as she listened to Vincenzo Pasquale tell her about a new job he has in mind for her.  He is breaking out in a slight sweat that he brushes away with a silk handkerchief.  She watches Vincenzo's mouth as he tells her that she would be contracted weekly with a hit of the Boss's choosing. She also would get paid on-call, this made her perk up, this was quite unusual.  Vincenzo slips an envelope with Ebony's name on it into her hand.  It is sealed.  "We are very serious about this offer Miss Jones, please take your time and consider it",  Vincenzo steps back and takes a large bite out of his sausage and pepper skewer.

Ebony rolls her eyes...

Oh the drama, though she could not deny that her curiosity was killing her!  She played it off, rolling the envelope up, and tucking it in her Jacket pocket. Vincenzo shakes his head.  "What?" Ebony snaps "I will look at it when I am goddamn good and ready and not a second sooner"  Ebony spits the seed at Vincenzo "And you should know better"
