Being in the shadows has it's privileges, or benefits if you will, as he sat there in his tree, Anna had evaded Tenkai senses and sneak up on him during his nap. It was unusual considering, Tenkai was a light sleeper. As Tenkai opened his eyes, he saw Anna. He instantly cursed, he must've been too tired to not be able to hear her. Good thing he could trust Anna, otherwise if it were anyone else they might have been able to drop the ball on him. 

"Kai.. You are due to go for a walk in the streets, you told me to wake you after two hours." Anna said. 

"Ah right. Yeah okay, let me freshen up and then I'll get going." Tenkai said softly 

Tenkai watched as Anna walked away, he looked around, needing to remember where exactly he was at. He remembered he had fall asleep on the couch with lacey. Seeing Lacey was no longer there, so he sat up and rubbed his face. He could hear Lacey and his children outside, probably watching lacey and training. 

He got up and went to wash his face, he thought it had been only a couple of hours, but it had been about six. He then went up stairs to change it into all black, he say it was sun set hours. The evening hours of preparing for partying and sneaking into places he shouldn't or killing targets if he wanted. After putting on plack pants, with a place shirt. He tied his hair up, keeping it off his neck, it was warm after all. After coming down, he saw his kids running around outside, and Anna cooking outside enjoying the weather. Walking out thr front into a personal car, he felt Lacey had followed him into his car. So he looked in thr back, and sure enough she was sitting there with a smile. 

"Lacey.. It's not a good idea for you to come with me." He said. 

"Why not?" Lacey said. 

"Because it will get dangerous.. And I don't have anyone else with me besides myself." He replied. 

"I was there last time it was dangerous." Lacey said. 

Lacey had him there, but Anna was there too, he sighed and started his car, driving off to the city 

After arriving in thr city of new York, he parked thr car in a vacant lot. Getting out, he put lacey on his right shoulder. As began to walk checking it out, he saw children playing soccer in the streets. Tenkai had been a lazy pwtty thief, but today he would get his name out there and rank up a bit. After all he was holding back. 

As he came a Cross a few men beating up a woman, he sighed, he wasn't a hero but he wasn't heartless. So he made sure Lacey held onto his neck as he began slowly creeping up on these two guys. 

He stretched his arms and moved his fingers as they popped. He grabbed one of the lanky guys by his hair and slammed him against the brick building. 

"How Dare you.. Do you know who I am?" The guy said. 

"I don't care who you are, but I know you're not mafia because otherwise you wouldn't be hitting on this female.. Hooker or not. Females and children are off limits. Unless their an exception of the mafia ranks." Tenkai said. 

The guy coughed, due to the air being pushed out of his lungs from the Brunt force of damage Tenkai inflicted upon him. 

As the woman looked up in shock, she seemed to be released due to the other man coming at Tenkai, as Tenkai easily dosged then wacked him with his hand and elbow making the guy fall to the side. The woman got up, and slightly fixed her clothes, she bwcked up against the brick building, her chest visibly moving up down trying to catch her breath from the horrors she just faced and is about to see from Tenkai. 

"Thank you sir." Woman's voice was in a high pitch soft whisper. 

"Go home, and next time if you're going to be out bring a male friend or sibling for protection.. I can't protect you from them all." He spoke softly, his voice deadly. 

Tenkai didn't even look her way, because he knew if he did, he would frighten the woman further. Hearing soft heels run off into the sunset night, he smiled, until his widened showing his fangs, as the men looked at him in horror, he only took satisfaction in their fear. Pulling a knife, and cutting their throats, he drained their blood into his canteen. He was sure lacey would have screamed by now. He looked at her, she only watched him in fascination. 

As he finished, saw one of the shadows had followed him, he raised a brow, remembering he had been using the shadows partly, and remembered his shadows could feel his power. 

"We will clean this up." The high ranked shadow said. 

"Good.. Now that I have you guys attentions.. I want to use you to gather all the unhoused gansters and Petty thiefs. We are gonna clwan new York up a little bit. At least while I'm still a Petty thief." He said, the shadow bowed. 

Seeing the sun go down, huddling more to the shadows, watching the stragglers and creepers of the city move in the city. He could hear the laughter of the parties coming to life in the night. Seeing Lacey fall asleep, he had a shadow watch over her in his car. 

A high ranked Shadow appeared at his side, keeping him updated on the recent events about to happen or have already happened. 

"Sir, the ny family is on the move. The gfc is heading to a members house, most likely meeting up to hang out for their next drug run. Also we are almost done with gathering all the unhoused gangsters. What would you like us to do with them?" The shadow stated. 

"Send them to the safe house, I'll set them up with jobs and stuff later. As for the family, good. Stay in the shadows, and protect them.. My wife is in that family, she must've got found out and recruited. Don't harm anyone one of them, she seems loyal to them. If anything is amiss, that brings them danger I want you to take care of it. I don't want anything to case my wife any problems." Tenkai said, the shadow bowed. 

As Tenkai began to move around the city, buy wood from the wood yard. And had it hauled to his safe house. Then he went to other shops to buy proper tools and carving tools and possible turning tools. He then had those taken to the safe house too, he then went bsught thr best outfits for his wife and children, then had it sent to the safe house as well. 

Seeing some of the stores close, he bsught ice-cream and candy, treats for the safe house, along with snacks. Then for his last stop, he baught weapons for himself and his family. Something temperary until he made himself and his family weapons. 

He then had it sent to the safe house, and started on his way home, he was tired. Finally making it to his car, he saw Lacey snpring as he started the engine and drove off. Getting back to the safe house, he saw a fire crackling, as the children ggled esting their supper. Tenkai went in, and set up the ice cream so they could good get some if they wanted. He felt lazy honestly, seeing his plate made, he picked it up snd sat in the living to eat, he had Lacey sent to bed. 

Tenkai didn't have much motivation today, he sighed, feeling the warm breeze on his face, he was hot, he grabbed his plate abd sat by the edge of the pool, keeping himself cool. He wished he would have stayed up north where it was cold, he prefered it. But his wife couldn't handle the harsh cold so for her he came down to a America. 

As he aat there and ate his food, he felt Anna take a seat next to him, he felt relaxed. 

"Kai.. Did you get everything you needed done?" She asked. 

"Hah.. No.. I just didn't have the motivation, I waz too tired hut I did get most of it what I wanted to get done.. I didn't check for everything. I think my Shadows did though which was good considering." He said, she nodded. 

"What all did you do today...besides this afternoon." She clarified. 

"well I saved a woman, and I talked to my shadows, and I went shopping." He said as she raised a brow. 

"Wait.. Did you just say you went shopping and before thst you saved a woman?" She asked skeptically. 

"yes why?" He asked. 

"That's one hell of away to be lazy man." Anna teased. 

"Yeah well I may not be hero but I wasnt into watching a female get beat up." He said and Anna looked like she knew he was right. 

As he finished, a maid took his plate and eating utensil, to wash it, as he sat and listened to the night. He looked up at the stairs laying back, with his hands behind his head. 

"So what did you shop for?" Anna asked. 

"Clothes for my children.. Wood for building and of course utensils to mess with the wood. Then I got candy and ice cream. I need something to do while I'm on display as idle. Don't I?" He stated. 

"Well yes.. I suppose that would be okay.. Oh we will need to go back to get them stuff for home schooling for them. And stuff for you too. So you have some thing to do in the house too." She said he nodded. 

As the kids seemed to finish and bring their dishes to the kitchen so the maids could clean them, They seemed to drift off to their rooms for bed. they had an early morning and a long day ahead of them to get up for their teachers that were coming in to teach them. Tenkai would need to go to the adoptions place to officially adopt Lacey, since her mother didn't seem to care about her. He had a home, enough room snd enough help to raise her. He also had more than enough money to make sure she had everything she'll need growing up. 

He looked over at the old granddaddy clock and noticed it was getting late, "yeah, well I need to try and head ot bed to get a good nights rest, so I can get started tomorrow." Tenkai said. 

He then got up and head to bed for his new start on life, his lazing around, for naps and training. This was what he intended to do while slowly growing and making friends. This was his newest Petty thief life.
