Tenkai had been working for months to keep the unhoused Gansters at bay, although they were gangsters and of the life of a criminal, there still needed to be order and they need class. If they had neither, then one or three things could happen to them.  One they could get shot by the big families, two they could end up in jail by a cop, or three sold and probably dead, by their competition. He lay there in bed in the early morning, hearing the birds start to chirp, it was still dark out side. It was a Friday morning and Tenkai wanted to sleep for a few more minutes before he had to get up for the day and get ready.  He sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to, so he sat up, setting his barefeet onto the floor. 

As the sheets fell to the bed, he wore nothing, since it was just him, he decided to sleep less restricted. As he got up, he walked to his shower, turning on the water. He sighed again, grabbed his tooth brush and tooth paste, freshening up his mouth. Seeing the water began to steam, he stepped in cleaning himself, waking up for the day. He cleaned himself and brushed his teeth. As he finished, he smelled of jasmines, lillies and lilacs along with a Forrest male cologne. He finished up and stepped out, thinking of all the things he needed to today, he wrapped a towel around his waist. 

He sighed, remembering he would need to take a shower later, after his run that is. He quickly put on his black training outfit, it was outlined with purple and gold. He quickly added his boots to it. As he finished, he saw that it was still dark, hoping to get in a few laps in before the children got up, he was just in time. Hearing no one else up, he quietly, ran down stairs staying in the shadows. He went to the tracks that were on the property. Feeling his body adjust to his fifty laps, he decided to up them. He upped them to a hundred, and bgan running, keeping pace. After a little over half finished, he started to feel the burn. Tenkai looked over to seeing his eldest being followed by the younger ones to start their training for the day. He gave a hint of a smirk at their tenacity. 

As Tenkai Ran, he felt free, ue could hear his long strands of his hair clanking against each other because of the jewelry. As he kept running, he felt the burn in his lungs and his legs. He was sure the bottom of his feet would blister, but as they say, no pain no gain. 

"Morning Papa." Anya and Raven cheered together. 

"Morning girlies.. Morning Akashi.. Noel.. Nadia Jazzy jazz.. Haha you even have Jr following your twin Nadia." Tenkai teased as they said their greetings. 

"father.. How man laps are you doing today?" Akashi asked, as he started to fall into pace with Tenkai. 

"One hundred." Tenkai said, as he looked over seeing Any as face scrunched. 

"How man have you done this morning?" Noel ask, they all looked at him curiously. 

"Mmm.. Eighty seven.. Why?" He stated. 

"Damn.. Just when I thought I was able to catch up for a moment." Jasmine said. 

"Oh girly. You have a long way to go." He spoke softly as he speed up. 

After about a half hours, he finished his laps, and went to do his warm up excersizes, upping the numbers on those as well. As he did his warm up, he thought about if he should go study the newest knowledge out there today or if he should play chess, or maybe he could build something. As he thought about it, he felt the burn in his muscles. As he finished, one of his guards handing him a towel to wipe his sweat. Then handing the towel back, he took the glass of ice cold water that was handed to him and he gulped it down. Feeling his thirst slightly quenched, he sat down and sat in the proper position for his breathing meditation technique. As he sat down, he closed his eyes, trying to figure out which martial arts he would use. 

He saw three that he wanted, the disaster heavenly lightening body, and the the chaos void, then the shadow quenching sword. As he studied them, he absorbed thr qi around him, leveling up his foundation. Then he finished his mediation and went to go eat breakfast. As he sat down, he saw the sun had risen, and the morning fog had clung to the gras turning to droplets of water. Leaving a mildewish hue to the atmosphere. It was slightly cool and humid henche the fog. As he sat at the table, his children came running in, very loud and giggling. Suddenly his wife came in goofing off with wraith, he was supping his tea when he heard them come in the front door, then everyone stopped talking and stared at him. 

"What? Do I have something on my face?" He asked softly. 

"Oh hello my love." Savannah said excitedly. 

"Hey girly. How was your night? Did you find a few traffickers?" Tenkai asked. 

Savanmah ran and jumped on his lap, "Mhm, also the leader in the family that I belong to wants to have a talk with you.. He said he wanted to thank you for keeping his streets clean. Also he's very happy with you making use of the unhoused gansters." Savannah cheered, kissing his cheek. 

Tenkai ruffled her hair, giving a hint of a smirk, "Well, alright, I'm going to the beach.. Maybe I'll meet him there." Tenkai said softly. 

Then after a few days, he got nothing, he was confused, thinking maybe this person got busy so he thought nothing of it. As days and weeks went by, he felt a lot better since he first woke up. So to treat himself, he went to take a nap on the beach, although the sun was out, it was a bit cool. He got dressed, and went to go relax on the beach, seeing it was empty, he laid his duster down, and laid down on top of his duster. Closing his eyes for a few hours, relaxing. Then suddenly, just as he was breathing, he could feel a massive dark presence, as dark as him. He opened his eyes and they were sitting around him, he sst up quickly and pulled gis knives. 

"Yo man no need for all of that.. He's in edge isn't he?" Kenny said. 

For a second, Tenkai was on edge, he looked like a deer cwught in the headlights. "So I hear your Nick name around town is the lone Shadow." Worm ignored Kenny's idoicy. 

"Although it's hardly worth mentioning, it's probably because I'm alone out at night." Tenkai stated looking between all of them. 

"It's probably because jubthenub isn't eating his vegetables like I told him too." Worm teased. 

"No it's because you won't let me extend my shoe closet." Shoes said. 

"Man if your shoe collection gets any bigger we won't have an hq." Worm teased back. 

"No it's because you guys won't do the durden raids." Kenny half yelled, as Tenkai closed his ears. 

Worm looked back at Tenkai as the members got up and started chasinf each other along beach, duchess tripping on her long dress. 

"Are they always like this?" Tenkai asked in a more quieter tone. 

"Unfortunately yes. But that's family for you.. I wouldnt ask for better members. You could be part of that you know." Worm said. 

"What do you mean?" Tenkai looked back at worm, with a raised brow. 

"You are considered the lone shadow, although we hear news of you helping in our city, people avoid you. One you're scary. You may look beautiful to the humans and wroms like myself. But you are still considered a monster. Like myself. Although you'll always be in the shadows, if you come with me.. You'll be more of an approachable shadow, a shadow with a family and we can help you grow. If you grow the way that I'm hoping.. You'll get far with me. And you'll be loved by us. It's up to you man if you want to be apart of that. Make memories." Worm said, as Tenkai looked out at worms family goofing off. 

He suddenly felt a but saddened, wondering if he was without family, as he looked back at worm who was smiling at his family chasing each other. He suddenly had the urge to want to be with them. 

"Yeah.. If that's okay with you.. I want give it a shot." Tenkai said determined as he and worm looked at each other. 

As the members finally came back, kenny crashed in the sand as Tenkai protect worm. "Well? What did he say boss?" 

"You have a new brother. To do raids with?" Worm said as they lifted Tenkai up and ran with him. 

Tenkai scrunched his nose up as being ran around above their heads, they laughed throwing him into the ocean. 

"Welcome to the worm family line shadow." Worm said we with a fist bump.
