An Easy Job: A Premeir & 47 Team-Up Started by: Mr_47 on Apr 24, '08 13:13
"Shit." It was more of a declaration than a curse when I said it, but I meant it as both, so I said it again. "Shit." The lying bitch had ripped me off, to the tune of ten million dollars. I slammed the phone down, as I had been listening to the dial tone since Rogers broke the news. Then, I ripped it off my desk and out of the wall and threw it out the second story window, onto a black police sedan. "Shit."

After I lined the cop's pockets with cash, I headed to New York, to visit a friend of mine from our days in the Army. His name was Premeir, and he was quite possibly the craziest son of a bitch I ever met. I was raised an assassin. Premeir was raised a killer. Quite a difference, actually. While I had no personal connection to any of my targets, Prem delighted in their pain. Each death was a job to me, while Prem thrived on each life he took. I was a ghost. I could kill someone and be thousands of miles away before the death was noticed. Even then, no one could identify a killer. Prem left calling cards, occasionally, he even signed his work. I was a death technician, Prem was a death ARTIST.

So, I went to Premeir. This one was personal. The bitch had conned us all, me, Rogers, even The Narc. We trusted her. Hell, Rogers was sleeping with her. Then she cleaned us out. No, this one wasn't going to be a silent kill. I wanted her to pay. I offered Prem half of the money we recovered. I didn't have to, Prem would have killed her for laughs, but the money didn't hurt. We headed out to find the bitch together. Me, wearing a suit, black leather gloves, and carrying twin silenced silver plated .45's. Prem, wearing a black trenchcoat, carrying a .22 magnum, two combat knives, a rope, and a metal briefcase filled with various surgical instruments. When I asked about the small calibur gun, he laughed and told me it would take the victim longer to die.

Ten million is a lot of money. As such, it's easy to track. We flew to Vegas, where she was throwing cash around like confetti. She used an alias, but she obviously didn't understand who she was dealing with. She was staying in the penthouse suit of some fancy hotel. We stopped our car a block or so away, and walked to the hotel. I began scouting. She was smart enough to employ some bodyguards. They were everywhere, I'd guess a minimum of twenty. "Looks like this could be interesting," I started to tell Prem. But he was gone.

The two guards at the front door approached him, tommy-guns in hand. Prem smiled and reached for his wallet, to show them some identification. When his hand returned, they fell dead. I don't know what happened, but when I caught up, they lay in the floor, in large puddles of blood. Prem was already pushing the elevator button when several other guards arrived. Before they could get a shot off, I dispatched them with the dual .45's, each making a "thwip" sound as it fired. The elevator arrived and Prem stuck a knife in the operator's throat. We rode to the fifth floor. I took the guards on the right, each with a head shot. Prem took the guards on the left, with a machete he had stashed somewhere in that coat. With the guards dead, the place was quiet. Except for the water running. She was taking a bath. I motioned for Prem to get her, while I checked for more guards. He was already on his way to the bathroom. I secured the area before I heard the first scream. As screams echoed through the penthouse, I found a sack full of cash. I took about half, then left. I knew that Prem had the situation under control and, quite frankly, I didn't really want to know what was happening. It was four hours before he exited the hotel and walked to the car. We didn't talk. We split up at the airport with a handshake.

*Stagger smiles, lighting a five cent cigar as the crowd bears in on the conversation once more*
