Liza bids adieu to her family waving and hugging goodbye as she gets into her well packed convertible. Parcels and suitcases threaten to fall out of the back seat and the tied down truck. She doesn't have far to go, just a short jaunt on the I-10 and she'll be at her new home at Hotel California.

The rumors weren't true of course... They say that the Hotel is haunted and once you check in, you can never leave. Liza knows better. It's just a myth to scare tourists and keep business booming.

She was eager to take on the new challenge of being the hotel's owner and manager. Not only would it help her pursue her dream as a writer but it could also put some hefty cash in her pockets--not to mention being an outstanding front for her boss's criminal activities.

Getting out of her car at the pull through in front of the hotel, she smiled at the doorman. As she walked through the stained glass entryway she hoped that she wouldn't ever want to leave.
