These streets are barren – devoid of debate.  The coffee-shops are, I hear, quiet.  People are scared to speak.  Opinions are kept quiet; dissent is crushed.  Meanwhile, the New Dawn draws nearer.

Within a matter of weeks, the longest reigning Godfather in these 8 cities is reportedly going to retire.  He will walk away with a record of achievement that comes close to rivalling Deime, Deime being the most powerful mobster to emerge since Ganelon.  By any standards, the run has been impressive.  An epoch is about to set.  And in it’s place?

Well, who knows.  In New York, there is –Premeir – the obvious candidate for supremacy.  But he’ll have to contend with the other Godfathers and Roman’s replacement.

Heres what I think is going to happen – LV will attack Philly or SL.  –Prem will then decide whether to join the smaller city to take out a potential rival in LV or allow Chade his moment of pent up aggression.  Either way, LV will fall to Prem.  But Chicago won’t be happy with NY being so powerful – a lot of guys there are going to want the wings clipped.  So what happens?

This is a moment to seize. The Kaleidoscope will be shaken. The pieces will be in flux. Soon they will settle again. Before they do, there will be a re-ordering of these cities around us.

Today conflicts rarely stay within city boundaries. Today a tremor in one city is repeated in the other seven. Today confidence is felt across all cities; either its presence or its absence.

Who will form the new alliances?  What culture will evolve?  Will the statist, dissent-crushing, murdering despotism be a thing of the past?

You speak of our business as though it were a game. It's not. It's life and death. Merely suggesting that Las Vegas would attack anyone in public should set the target square on your back for that city as it would for anyone who were stupid enough to do such a thing.

If and when Roman retires I would expect him to name a successor in Chicago and I would expect business to continue as usual. Could a conflict arise? It's possible. As it is every day in this thing of ours. One thing that's certain, the Kuklinski family line will have no say in what happens. No matter how hard they try, standing out on these streets, yelling horse shit in an attempt to create fear, distrust, and jealousy. No one buys it. The Kuklinski family has made their name as jesters and clowns and simply don't carry the credibility to instill the doubts, fear, and jealousy they so badly wish to.

Bismarck, you are heavy and iron.  Of that there is no doubt.  However, you have the semblence of a point, albeit one mired in hyperbole and nonsense.

Behind door number one; Roman appoints a successor - OK, job done.  Or is it?  Is Chicago united?  Will all the Dons be happy with Roman's choice?  What will Roman consider before making his choice?

Behind door number two; An existing Godfather might well see his or her only chance to survive and grow being dependent on having no serious competition.

Behind door number three; a pet shop, a small man and some roller skates.

Also, Bismarck, LV were all set to attack SL earlier this week.  I have read the logs and know the ins and outs.  You obviously haven't.

Just a quick question who the fuck is Deime?

I try to stay away from these. I do. I know no good can come of it, and it will only serve to get me in trouble with people who matter to me.

But I just... I can't resist anymore. I try, but this is the limit.

Do you know why people think your family line is full on inbred morons, Mr_RK? It's because of things like this. Where yet another one of your line come out and spew rubbish all through the streets, trying to inflame people's paranoia and distrust with nothing more than a few whispered words and the fallback of "I know what's going on, trust me."

Well, Mr_RK, I wouldn't trust you to tell me if it was raining. Neither would anyone else around these parts.

I get what you're trying to do, I really do. Oratory can be used to inflame passion and spark the fires of rebellion in people's hearts, it can be used to bring people closer or to tear them apart. The right word in the right ear at the right time can bring down empires.

So yes, I understand what you're trying to do.

The problem is, your rhetoric is pathetic. There is no subtlety to what you do, there is no art to the words you use. What should be the precision of a skilled surgeon is, in your mediocre hands, a shotgun blast. You simply throw everything you can against the wall in order to see what will stick. You say, today, that Las Vegas was planning on attacking STL? For what reason, pray tell, would there be to do that? Wasn't it just last week when you were trying to say that New York was going to attack people, or that LV was going to attack Detroit? I honestly think you simply take a dart and throw it at a map and say "Oh it landed near LA and Philly, obviously LA is going to attack Philly!" - Never mind that LA currently has no families residing in it.

That is what is so utterly detestable about you. There is no thought or poetry in what you do, it is simply the work of randomness.

You claim yourself to be a writer, and I suppose that if we broaden that definition to "those that can spell", I would agree with you. So I offer you this constructive criticism:

Stop. You are making a fool of yourself. You make a mockery of everything rhetoric is.

As someone who actually is a writer, I am embarrassed for you.
