Suddenly woken with a knock at the door, TWJ leaps from his slumber to greet a panicked Riddler. He could see from the look on his face that something was not quite right. TWJ sat him down and poured him a large whiskey from his tumbler. 
 

“What troubles you boss and why have you come to me?” probes TWJ. 
 

Downing the large whiskey in one go, Riddler sighs and leans back in his chair. 
 

“You’re going to have to take over” he says. “I’ve spoken to Stiffler, he agrees you’re the man for the job. I have other jobs, ones that require my full attention and this world of ours will have to wait for now”. 
 

A weight appears to be lifted from Riddler as he announces his retirement. A freedom to step away and concentrate on his other, more important jobs. 
 

“Riddler, I can only thank you for everything you have done for me and the new life you have provided for me. I wish you the very best with your new duties in retirement. Someday, I’m sure, we will meet again”. 
 

TWJ and Riddler share a few hours of reminiscing over a cigar and a few more whiskeys. Life is about to change drastically for the Jew - but did he know just how much?
