We Are Here to Celebrate TheBeast

What percentage amongst us could face down the threats and challenges that Beast has, with the permanent intellectual disadvantage he has, and still remain alive?  I don't think 75% of any of us could remain living.

Some of you, the naysayers, might say we are witnessing historically low calibre leaders.  To his, I simply ask if anyone has checked out Aramis, Ginge, or FreddieMercury?  Mute, chamless, witness, losers?  I don't think so.  Some say it best by saying nothing at all, and that's what this current crop of leaders have in common.

TheBeast is the only person to survive a living eulogy written about him.  The only person to recover almost 10% of an eight figure sum that was scammed off of him in two separate confidence tricks.  The only CL to survive having literally paid an underground group a huge sum of money to kill a sponsored member of a rival family.

TheBeast has done all of this, despite a limited ability that he's open about, and prospered.  His top earner and biggest gun is assassinated by The Plumbers?  Boom, he doesn't care.  Business as usual.  His HQs come under sustained attack?  WHATEVER!

Several of his men are mysteriously killed?  Sigh.  He doesn't care.

He's the Teflon Moron.

WHAT WILL FINALLY KILL THEBEAST?

Why don't you try it? If you hate him so much, if you despise him so much, why don't you grow some balls and do it yourself? I mean, i doubt someone is stupid enough to home you or let you build your gun, but you could simply not tell anyone who were your parents and grandparents. You could simply disguise as someone else's lineage. Or say that you're not from these shores.

But no.

You're a coward. As were all of your relatives. You hide behind your letters and your shitty typewriter and every generation of your family keeps antagonizing him, a man that fought in wars and is still aive and kicking, while you hid behind your momma's trousers. Why don't you do something about it, if you want him to die so badly? You're a pathetic excuse for a human being.

As usual, an embarrassment. See you at your funeral, which shall happen soon, if you keep this up.

Knusprig walks through the streets of the city and watches the hustle and bustle. People go about their business, some are in pairs or larger groups and talk, still others sit in street cafes and take a break.

Knusprig leaves the main street as he hears a strange whining, almost crying. In a small, dirty side street, between two run-down buildings in front of garbage containers, a puny person stands and holds a monologue. No one seems to care. Out of pure pity, Knusprig listens to the gnome-like person. After only a few seconds, he realizes that this is pure hate speech, weakly delivered, meaningless, marked by jealousy.

Knusprig does not know the Godfather-Chairman who is the subject of the monologue. But he knows that such disrespectfulness has no place in these lands. He gives the speaker one last pitying look and leaves this shithole of an alley again to return to where life plays.

Colonel_Ives, I've nothing but respect for TheBeast, hence the hagiography.

My lineage profited handsomely from past associations with Beast.  To think I dislike him is to miss the point is the speech.

In a world of blandness, he's a shining light

Thanks for the tip, Dak__

Im glad people understand the true meaning of my tribute to TheBeast.

All further tips will of course eventually be sent to TheBeast

Report Post Tip

If TheBeast is as dim as you claim he is, how could he be the secret force behind The Competition Commission? This was once considered a conspiracy theory, but it really makes perfect sense. With The Competition Commission being at the root of most of the recent wars, and with TheBeast continually coming out unscathed, it seems like a very logical conclusion. And there he still sits, silently looking down on us with condescension, as we act like dogs chasing our own tails.

Explosion was passing by when he heard a speech with words that made no sense.

"Well I could agree with all that you're saying, but that would be two people talking nonsense."

"What do you think about becoming a member of the Meanningless Committee? Your speeches would be most welcome."

"Think about it.'

"LeBete though I agree that it's important to celebrate TheBeast the FACTUALLY VERIFIABLE Journalist in me scoffs at the numbers you've reported."

"You say that he has recovered almost 10% of the 'scam', but by my calculations (based on the numbers provided by the latest spawn of the despised Fareham lineage) it's closer to 6%. Here, allow me to demonstrate." JournalistHarold grabs a portable mechanical calculator, adjusts the small levers and starts turning the crank. It makes an obnoxious rattling sound.

"See? Totally wrong. Normally I recommend everyone to get into FACTUALLY VERIFIABLE JOURNALISM, but for you I'll make an exception. Don't even think of writing a newspaper if you can't get the numbers right."

"TomJoad, 𝕥𝕙𝕖 ℍ𝔸ℝ𝕆𝕃𝔻 has said for literal decades that TheBeast and The Competition Commission might be related to each other, but the uneducated masses will not listen (or perhaps they deny it because they're afraid of the implications of it being truthful). It is a lost cause."

"On to more important matters, how will we celebrate TheBeast? Should we hold a Competitive Writing Competition for who writes the best poetic praise? May I suggest a crowdfunded prize pool of 80 million dollars?"

Our man, TheBeast is going down fighting.  @Billy_Costigan will confirm we warned him of his impending assassination.

DeadlikeDead just wants to make a statement. Let's all celebrate TheBeast who took a great retirement to honour his great run. What a man!
Report Post Tip

Should we celebrate a man who's "retirement" resulted in the deaths of almost 30 people? I'm not sure.

What I am sure of is that journalist will now be free to report on Competition Commission related wars without being shot down in the streets. Could this be the catalyst for a resurgence on the streets?

PERHAPS

JournalistHarold I think your Competition idea might be exactly what we need. The Competition Commission is supportive of starting the Annual TheBeast Poetry and Prose Competition.

Thoughts?

I think towards the end myself and The Beast (Or Beasty Boy as I knew him) really developed a great bond. He confided in me in his final minutes on this crazy place we call Mafia planet Earth. It was a real boy meets girl story. A modern Romeo and Juliet for the ages. He was big on loyalty, and to me nothing says loyalty like dragging your entire city to their death and then retiring.

I'm sure you can read all about it in the next edition of The Harold.

Im sure most citizens understood what I meant, thanks to what TheBeast done by retire no more highly growed chars not gotten killed. Which truly was a great move by a great man.

DeadlikeDead hoped now that Ned_Harrington could try to understand it.

He also hailed GiannaSchmianni for a good view.

no more highly growed chars not gotten killed.

Stan looks confused he pinches himself and feels a jab of pain. Yeah he was real not just some figment of someones imagination now to address the masses and share some wanted unwanted wisdom from the events that unfolded last night.

As Ned_Harrington pointed out should we celebrate the retirement of a GodFather Chair whos actions resulted in his city being removed? While i can respect The Beast wanting blood for blood  because of the unsanctioned execution of a Right Hand man from his city. I cant respect a man that decided to return the favour and not alert his city to his actions and left them to be cut down.
