Looks like the judge ruled in favor of Microsoft. And now the CMA is willing to "negotiate" terms to allow the deal as well. Seems like Xbox is acquiring Activision Blizzard. How does that make everyone feel? Personally, I'm excited lol, but I know everyone may not feel the same. :D

Well is already going back to the courts and a 3 billion termination cost f deal is not finished by the 18th.   To me, I would rather see smaller competing companies, not some mega-company eating up all the opposition but at the same time wanting the resources for games to improve.  To me, the CMA just looks weak now even if they asked for a restructured deal, as looks like just going along with the EU and US.   If the US appeal wins and the deal is turned down, will CMA turn face again?

I supported Blizzard since the early ages/stages, like from Warcrafts and Starcrafts and also later World of Warcraft and then I saw it partner up with Activion, became factory of games, just pumping out shit over and over again, then micro-transactions and lootboxes, gambling bla bla.

I also forgot Diablos 1-2 and then new ones that are decent but money, money, money and now Microsoft? Meh...

Well considering Activision and Blizzard together make some really not great games other than diablo II resurrected which is hardly even them I'm sure they'll be a lot worse with Microsoft owning them and then making all their games xbox/pc exclusive. 

Well in the UK they got a 2 months to wait on the next court date, to discuss all the problems that were discussed and even after that there is no guarantee so guessing will slow things down,   

It will be a boon for Xbox players and a eventual doom for non xbox players. On the plus side, Activision will be no more.

Blizzard has to step it up, makes great games then bombs it after a couple months. Diablo is in a bad state rn , pretty sure overwatch is as well. 

Im not sure what to make of it TBH, I have PS4, PC and XBox Series S so in a way im excited for the games to come hopefully to the gamepass and once again play warcraft 3 and maybe try Warcraft (never got into Warcraft as when it came out i was struggling money wise so could not afford the games as well as the continuous monthly fee) but then as with previous take overs are the new games going to suffer and become so bad people wont bother with them no more.

with Microsoft in control will it be the boot up the back side Blizzard/Activision needs? 

Been playing their games for decades now from COD and CTR on ps1 etc etc so would be sad to see it all go hits up.
