Teyla stepped out of her HQ and onto the streets following her meeting with Godfather Balls.  There was a renewed determination to her demeanor that hadn't been there before.  She had been allowing the busyness of life to distract her of late and the meeting had opened her eyes to that fact.  She couldn't allow the status quo to be good enough any more.  She wanted more.  She hungered for more. 

Her work since coming into the Sack had caught the eye of more than a few within and without the family, it was what had allowed her to coast for a time without missing to much.  Systems had a way of utilizing momentum to keep going for a time without more input, but there was always friction that would eventually draw energy out of the system.  The godfather must have seen this and decided a little completion and a carrot was the best way to motivate her and another of her crew-mates to press for more.

So it was with fresh vigor she sat out to increase her clout.  Day and night she would devote to achieving her goals.  Nothing and no one would get in her way.  That prize would be hers!
