Mark stands in his small apartment in consternation. Shocked, he hangs up the phone.

He was always aware of the "profession" his father had chosen and accepted it. He has also come to terms with the fact that his father has put "family" above family. And he secretly expected to receive a call one day that his father had died. But he did not expect such a call: Father, dead, killed in his sleep by strangers.

His father was a hard-working man who achieved a lot and always strived for more. His passing now, however, seems to Mark to be without glory at all.

He packs a suitcase for a short trip, father's funeral. He hasn't spoken to him for a long time, but the old man certainly deserves a little recognition.
