I've just been challenged by a cheeky troublemaker to get to the top of the VIP Boards in 10 days. I don't know if I could do it, but I reckon it'll be a fun challenge nonetheless. I'm wondering if anyone else wants to give it a go with me. Just to make it interesting I've decided to keep a decent prize. I'm expecting it to go up soon as others have agreed to contribute to the pot.

Deadline: 21st August 18:00:00
Prize: 20 credits split between the first 3 places
Rules: At least one reply must be made in the Business District of each city and one post in the streets.
Qualification: To qualify at least one street post must be RP-related.

The only problem with this is that whenever street activity is overly incentivized, it tends to lead to a bunch of poor quality bullshit littering the street. Not shitty enough to get swept, mind you. Just shitty enough to stay up and annoy everyone. I will speak to my contact within the Competition Commission to make certain that this does not happen. Hopefully we get some good material out of this.

I understand your point TomJoad. That is certainly a concern. However, I reckon it's better to get people involved first and then worry about the quality. I for one would rather have 20 interested people exploring the roleplay element or trying it out for the first time instead of 2-3 seasoned writers cranking out novels. That said I do appreciate your perspective. I think I do have some ideas about how to incentivize quality as well the next time around.

I have no input on your idea. There is always room for good ideas and the promotion of good, quality street discussion. But that'snot you is it?  No, you, you as an individual, are a spammer. Four threads and twenty seven replies in just three days at the time I posted. That's just spamming. 

 So ... I had a few days off work and wanted to write more.
