Another game that comes out next mont is the next installment in a series with a wide and dedicated fan base. I personally have never played ay of the Elder Scrolls games. But after reading some things about this game, I feel like I must be missing out. The game has all the things that interest me: swords, magic, dragons, customizable player options, hell there are about 100 different ways to play through the main quest. With all the side quests and optional content the article I read mentioned, this game seemed huge.

There is nothing I enjoy more than a fully interactive and explorable world in a game. Not just the places you may see during a mission...a gigatic world where you can spend hours just walking around, exploring. I'm seriously considering buying this game, but I'd like to hear from a couple of people who have played these games before and get their opinions on the new game.

Should I go and buy the previous games? I have no Idea if the storyline is connected between games. Are the games as epically huge and awesome as this one appears to be? Someone help me out.

No you do not need to play the previous Elder Scroll's, each game stands alone, only connected by certain themes, guilds and stuff. Each has it's own unique story.

I have played Elder Scrolls 3 & 4, Both awesome games at the time. But each game improve's on the other, and Skyrim will be by far the best, maybe even the best RPG ever made, bold statement I know, but it is looking soooo good.

In short forget the others jump straight in to Skyrim!

I agree with Vinaldi, I have only played Elder Scrolls 4 and I had no problem playing through the campaign. Although i did miss a couple references here and there, I ended up playing through the game 4 times, each time doing something completely different. Go ahead and jump straight into Skyrim, it is going to be a glorious game especially for RPG fans.

Aye, I am also quite excited for Skyrim!  It seems like a pretty awesome game!

Actually, I'm hosting a skyrim party. Me and 4 of my friends are pre-ordering skyrim and picking it up at the midnight release.

I'll be getting it as well - I'll be out of town when it's released but if my woman knows what's good for her it'll be laying on the table for me when I get back home. 

im so ready to have absolutely no life next week. Looking forward to spending a couple hundred hours straight playing the game. Might loose a couple pounds from not eating enough because im to lazy to make food.

GAME OF THE YEAAAAAAAAAAAAR

So, I picked up the PC DVD at gamestop, only for steam to start downloading it. Pretty pathetic. I would of went with a digitial copy if I knew it was going to do this.

I preordered yesterday, but I wasn't going to a midnight release (my fellow nerds scare me), so I am getting it probably around 10 PM tomorrow. Can't wait.

This game is AMAZING.

I had  a pretty epic fight with this dragon a couple of days ago. I was in highlands above this river valley between Markarth and Rorikstead. All of a sudden this frost dragon swoops down and starts blasting me with it's frozen frost breath (Naturally). So I make a run for it towards the lowlands. And Skyrim crashed! The end! :-(

i wanted to get skyrim so bad but i always wait for a couple of months just in case of unknown bugs
