I’m glad to see that we’re getting some strong dog momentum now. The only acceptable answer as far as I’m concerned. My work here is done it would seem.

For me it is dog.A dog will lay its life down for you.How could you not like anything that thinks enough of you to die trying to protect you?.Yes dog.

Why choose? Both are great communions, and you have to pick up their poop either way! XD

Hmm, good question. I would say that dog is better if you have a house and a lot of space for the dog run around and have fun, but if you are limited with space I would say Meow-Meow forever

Cats but also like dogs and would have chosen both

As one who enjoys excess, I would have both a cat and a dog. Currently, just a couple of cats though. I'm thinking of getting an older dog from a rescue. 

I’m an animal lover. I have 2 dogs a black and white heeler mix and a black German shepherd whom I adore and could not live without and I also have a cat who sometimes bosses the dogs around but secretly is best friends with the German shepherd when she thinks no one is looking. 

Apparently cats sit on your keyboard and send out mass mails that you then have to apologise for. If a dog sits on the keyboard it knocks over the whole screen.

definitely more of a cat than a dog person, though I love both very much. just so happens i have a cat thats basically a dog but is a giant lazy floofball and the best cat of my life.

I like both to be fair, but I have never had a cat.

Where as i have had a Dog, and what a dog she was. She was a black Lab and saddly went for the long sleep last August. She was 15. broke my heart taking her to the vet. she was part of the family, my first pet. I got her when i was 22, so i know i was an adult, but i grew up with her if you get me. went from this silly young adult to a grown ass man crying my eyes out saying goodbye to one of the best friends I have ever had.
