ADMIN COMP: MR Pumpkins - Ends Oct 31, 23:59 Started by: Squishy on Oct 17, '11 07:19

Carve an MR pumpkin. Every submission will win stuff in a decent quantity.

This contest starts Oct 18th at 20:00 and ends Oct 31st at 23:59

Categories
==========
A) Most artistic
B) Most humorous
C) Most demented
D) Oddest place to pose the pumpkin
E) Most pets or animals to pose with the pumpkin
F) Most overly decorated "wow dude, you went waaay overboard" pumpkin
G) Normal pumpkin, but hey I did it anyway (everyones a winner in this one!)

Special Awards
==============

First crew to submit 5 pumpkins wins a bonus prize for the crew.

First crew to submit a pumpkin by at least 5 different ranks wins an uber prize for the crew. (The two smallest crews in a city can work together if their total combined size is under 35 including npms)(Please submit both crew lists in PM showing all members at the time of submission)

Bonus if the pumpkin is wearing some form of undergarment.

Highest percentage of users entering based upon real life crew size (Two smallest crews must combine if total size is under 35 people including npms)

Highest number of users entering from one crew.



Rules
=====

Every submission must also have a picture including the pumpkin sitting in front of a monitor clearly showing the users logged in name. Control+ zooms in for most browsers if anyone cant seem to get the game name big enough for a clear picture.

Must also include a daylight shot and a nighttime action shot with it lit up.

The submission can be done by the CL/RHM/LHM/User/Fellow Crewmate (this way the time of day doesn't really hold people back to submit to get the "first to..." prizes)

People have asked if they can submit multiple pumkins, sure!

Although I don't want a pumpkin farmer to serve up 10,000 pumpkins and make me go broke! So lets say you get rewarded up to 5?

I had to take these pics with my shitty 2g iPhone.

Theme: Pumpception. A pumpkin within a pumpkin. Maze cutouts on both sides, maze/puzzle lid with hand made jack o lantern beaded dangle. Eyes also say "MR" Jack o Lantern sunglasses, pumpkin sat on jack o lantern garland and surrounded with lime green ribbon printed with candy corn. Bat and Jack o Lantern confetti on the desk and tray, originally lit with a snap and shake wand (topped with a jack o lantern) but I decided to depussify myself and light a candle on my desk, surrounded by flammable acetate ribbon.

Theme: This dapper pumpkin went out on a night of fun. The waitress who served him got a little excited when he began dropping hundred dollar bills and downing bottles of Tanqueray gin, so she left her panties with him. Much later, he ended up in her apartment's bathroom puking his guts out. She was so disgusted by him that she kicked him out. He ended up in the back alley, miserable, alone, and covered in kitty litter.

Theme: This pumpkin was involved in a war. After walking out into the streets he was murdered and his pumpkiny guts were strewn all over the Pergo floors of NY. That is why you can see in the "proof" picture that my former name, Ciaran, is displayed as being dead.

That was my first time carving pumpkins. Free hand carving is really hard. Next time I will use a piece of paper and trace onto the pumpkin. :)
