Well, I don't believe anyone else plays baseball, hence they can adopt the title, 'World Series', because the only place in the world you can play Baseball is in the US. |

Maybe originally but I also don't know for sure that the world series was the world series untill much later than you think. I will leave you to do the google'ing. |

I'm an Englishman and i never played baseball but i enjoy watching it, the World series was excellent, thought the RANGERS would have won though |
