So I've been walking the streets tonight and I heard a small conversation that got me thinking. That conversation can be found here: How do you feel? It's about comparing old times versus new times. Which is always fun sometimes sparks a little debate. I thought I'd run with something a little different and didn't want to take away from the original discussion.

So yeah, here's what I'm thinking. What happens next?

We've seen the past, the families that have come and gone. Some still live on either in the open or behind closed doors. But then we look at now, and what is common knowledge Roman runs the show. 2 years on the trot, as much as I have my own personal feelings. It's something I do actually respect. Then we also have -Premier, quite controversial at times. Some love him, some also don't feel the love so much. But well after that who really is there?

Allow me to explain my train of thought here, the two I have already mentioned are big names. They will be remembered for a very long time for what they've done. We all know many remember the likes of Anita, Scotland, Iris, UncleNicky, FlyingPig, -mreevilman. You get the point we all do tend to remember the different times we have known.

So I ask you this, while there are many out there who have a long history in our world. A wealth of experience at almost every level. Who out of you is going to carve out the next Empire like Roman has? It's no doubt that at some point after his reign we will get someone else to rival his time. But the question is, who among you thinks that you might be in for a shot at that title?

Are you content with the status quo? Or do you secretly crave for greater power? wink

i actually dont know any of the people you listed. but since you listed them instead of modern mafiosos, ill take that to mean they were better. as for the final question; i crave more. its not a secret that i want to be the best new yorker i can be, and i will never hide it. i am greedy, but not uncontrollably. do i want to rule the world? no, ill leave that to someone a bit more skilled in those areas. do i want to be remembered? respected? hell yeah. do i like money? you bet. lucky for me, my best route to get there is to serve my leader as best i can, and because of that i am very content with the status quo. i don't need to "make a shot for the title" to get my objective, so that doesnt really stir anything in me.

what i would like to know is how much longer the other godfathers can put up with being referred to as a part of "Roman's Empire". there's other godfathers than just roman and -premeir, but no one even mentions them by name anymore in speechess like these.

I'd like to actually clear something up. When I talked about the Roman Empire I was referring to the city of Chicago alone. The other Godfathers are themselves in their own right.

Well you know something brother i am the current IRC Boxing champion and the Reigning Wrestling Champion of the world brother! Well Hogan this seems to be the time more fitting for this speech. You are a champion in your field in your own right. But as for the crew leaders who now still battle the race is on to see who will become the top dog.

The 4 Biggest and baddest powerhouses this thing of ours has ever seen.  You can tally up all the achievements of every single GF you have listed; and it will pale in comparison to the swath these 4 have torn through our fair cities. These 4 will ALWAYS be top dog around here.

I can promise you that one or all of these 4 will show up.

With the fall of the Empire in Chicago coming from multiple regimes, even ones from the Empire itself, I'd say the next big thing is going to be the acting survivors who served side by side with one another to remove the power house, Roman. It wasn't an ordinary task as it took every single city leader to choose their side and fight for what they thought was the right thing. And the right thing was change.

As something easily shared amongst other city heads, I believe they all share a little bit of something and it'll take awhile before someone arises and takes the power helm.

Let the dust settle first and ask the same question later.

I must admit head of a city or head honcho of this thing of ours is the last thing i would want.  The stress of moans, complaints and dealing with idiots who i would rather shoot them deal with puts me off totally.  The truth is we live in a cut throat world that can eat up your life and like hell is it something i would want.   I would rather share some wisdom down the line, motivate people to be more then they are and realise the value of family then sit ahead with people wishing me dead.

the backsatbbing, slanderous, traitorous world we live in can be great for the house in malibu, the place in the alps and the penthouse in new york but after a while the stress on the heart, infinite headaches and watching your back takes its toll.
