Wearing a new bolded suit, Deviant struts from the L'Esercito del Formaggio HQ, flanked by his trusty Gouda advisors. KingofWheelbarrows trundles along behind them while Draize runs amok. He clears his throat before addressing the waiting crowd. Well well well. I didn't think it would be so soon until I was here again making another generic "It's Me!" speech, but I suppose things happen in unpredictable ways around these parts. Due to the sad and indeed untimely demise of my comrade and leader j0ngott1 (IN YOUR FACE, MAN), I am now authing myself to take over the reins in New York. As most of you know, my history in this world lies here in this city - first as a right hand to Don Cheezo, then as Captain, and now it's mine. All mine. Token gushing comments aside, nothing gives me greater pride than to lead this family into a new era. I won't make any shite speech thanking anyone. Rather, I think it more apt to make some timely commentary on events of the past few days and proffer some thoughts about the future. I trust that the flock of rabid civilians we seem to have patrolling our streets at the moment will waste no time in descending from their high moral horses and making some hysterical claims about nothing in particular of relevance - just keep on truckin', guys. One day, someone will take some notice of what you say, and make you feel nice in your hearts. So, we had a few rogues. It brought a bit of colour to Sunday. From the empirical evidence I've managed to gather, though, it seems that the CP hand that guided these cities pre-Sunday, is still pretty much intact, post-Sunday. Not much change there. The river of tears, however, before just a stream, now appears to have metamorphosised into some full flowing rapids. Useful for washing Curiosity's soiled underwear in with a bit of Vanish, but not much else. So what do we do here? Where do we go? I'm wondering if there's any possibility for a bit of mature debate, preferably sans tears and sans Sit's increasingly irritating speaking style. I mean. Yeah. Seriously. You guys. Are fucking fuckwits. Fucking mouthbreathers. (but we are in love, really.) Constructive suggestions for the future of my city are more than welcome. Even for the future of this world in general. What is not welcome, however, are the constant delusional rantings that we see on an almost daily basis. Accusations divorced from facts and lunatics estranged from their medication does not for good street speaking make. Instead, it's rather dull. Let's wake up and smell ourselves, folks. About sixty people from this world frequent the coffee shops on a regular basis. About a third of those, perhaps (generous estimate) want CP to catch AIDS irl. Hardly the dramatic underswelling of hatred and angst that people would have you believe. On the other hand, of those who hate coffee and never visit - trust me that most don't really give a shit about CP, or UN, or anything else. So rather than CP pushing people away, it is the ridiculous and very public vitriolic bickering between what is essentially a couple of relatively small factions in the bigger scheme of things that probably makes new Mafiosi think we're not worth hanging around for. In fact, with that last paragraph, I've probably lost most people entirely. Especially any n00bs. Proves my point really. You'd need to have so much background knowledge to understand most of the bilous speeches being made on the Street and OOC Avenue these days that you'd want to be IzzyCreamcheese himself. Hardly the most conducive thing to welcoming new people to these shores, is it? So let's make nice and talk about it constructively. I harbour little hope for that dream becoming an eventually. But you never know. By the way, the Street Speaking Encouragement Fund is still open for business. At the moment we're averaging about 7k donation per Mafioso in the six cities. Good work! In other news, please welcome Draize as my captain in New York. He's a right big fat C in the j0ngott1 line of C's but he'll do fine really. I chose him because both our names begin with D and I thought it'd look pretty nice together. That's all, I'm going to swan off now. |

That was a great speech and i like what you said about the rabid civilians. If people are only here to cause problems and not join a family then they shouldn't be here at all. Trying to spread hate is not good for business. Good luck with your new familyl. |

I bet this isn't the pair of tits you expected. Still, not a disappointing surprise I hope. Let me be the first to usher New York in a new era of debauchery and sordid goings on that the six cities haven't seen since the time of Bunneh. It is my privilege, as an Officer and a Gentleman, to proclaim the birth of The Sexual Deviants in the Big Apple (Cheese). Without giving too much away, it will be a great delight in working under and with Deviant (Make of that what you will) and the Cheezy Soldiers. Also, note how both the Leader and the Captain both have links to city hall. I bet we are right big cheaters. No, I don't really. We are nice boys. Now I must be on my way, my empty HQ is beckoning me for a mammoth self gratification session. |

And I can only think of Looks up while totaling the number of suitable people, 19 people more suitable than you, so your top 20 in my eyes. If we weren't limiting the search to people beginning with D, you'd be top 100, I'm sure. Just kidding! Congrats, well deserved! |
