Each location is a type of cypher with a key. Normally the key is posted somewhere in the thread. Once you identify a suspected key then the correct cypher method is needed.

I recently posted the breakdown of the first two locations, their keys, and their cypher style. The third location uses a different style than the first two..... I try to work a clue in to every post, or response. Did you find the clue.. This one really stands out "he third location uses a different style than the first two." This is very apparent from seeing only two digits than seeing letters and numbers as seen in the first two locations.

Hint: Look how the Bank Robbery - 100K reward notes were solved. One may use the same cypher style with the answer posted. Or maybe not...

How the hell are you ment to crack the thread codes?
Report Post Tip
No worries. After you play around with it putting the letters and numbers in a line, square, circle, hexagon, pyramid, etc. it should come to you. If not then maybe some post by others or myself will spark a method and hopefully you will get it before them. You will need the key to go along with the cypher. So far no one has identified the key. This key could be lost. PrinceofCheese may have died with this key, who knows? Maybe I should post the fourth location. I'll ponder that idea for a moment or two.

Yes, People are catching on to the madness and solving faster. So I am making it more of a challenge. Also adding in a scavenger hunt type feel to the latest one.

The last location post is a very interesting combination of letter and numbers. Hmmmm... Many have tried to break this one. This one had dollar signs written beside the location. We are assuming that this one holds the most money, hopefully....

Another one. Let ask the wizard, he might know.

She looks for the yellow brick road.

As she looks for the yellow brick road, the wizard appears to her as a great fireball... You need COURAGE young Adawong... COURAGE I say. Got destroy the wicked witch of the west...

its all hidden inhis wheel of cheese he left in his cellar to become smelly
Report Post Tip
We searched the cellar, it was the first placed we looked. Just moldy cheese was found. I believe Adawong was on to something. We are venturing down that avenue.
Report Post Tip
The yellow brick road she goes, looking for the a clue to where the money is. A wizard jumps out and asks Ada what she is doing.

A clue is said to be found on the yellow brick road. I have searched far and near and can not find this code.

The wizard pauses and points to a direction and says go there.

She runs towards the directions and finds.

Report Post Tip
Awesome..... I was getting worried that the locations were not going to be solved. After reading your information, we went to the farmhouse and sure enough recovered a large amount of money. Thank you for your hard work. You have earned your 50K. I hope you especially enjoyed the 4th location breakdown. It was very ingenious of PrinceOfCheese to use the Wizard of Oz story as the decipher method. :)

1 2 3 4 5 10 15 20

Dorothy is a young girl who lives on a Kansas farm with her Uncle Henry, Aunt Em, and little dog Toto. One

25 30 35 40

day the farmhouse, with Dorothy inside, is caught up in a tornado and deposited in a field in the country

45 50 55

of the Munchkins. The falling house kills the Wicked Witch of the East.

(B)

5 10 15 20

The Good Witch of the North comes with the Munchkins to greet Dorothy and gives Dorothy the shoes that the

25 30 35 40

Wicked Witch of the East had been wearing when she was killed. In order to return to Kansas, the Good Witch

45 50 55 60

of the North tells Dorothy that she will have to go to the "Emerald City" and ask the Wizard of Oz to help

65

her.

(C)

5 10 15 20

On her way down the road paved with yellow brick to the Emerald City, Dorothy frees the Scarecrow from the

25 30 35

pole he is hanging on, restores the movements of the rusted Tin Woodman with an oilcan, and encourages the

40 45 50 55 60

Cowardly Lion to journey with her and Toto to the Emerald City. The Scarecrow wants to get a brain, the Tin

65 70 75

Woodman a heart, and the Cowardly Lion, courage. All are convinced by Dorothy that the Wizard can help them

80 85

too. Together, they overcome obstacles on the way.

(D)

5

When the group arrives at the Emerald City, the Guardian of the Gates provides them with special green

spectacles that will keep the brilliance of the Emerald City from blinding them.

(E)

5 10 15

When each traveler meets with the Wizard, he appears each time as someone or something different. To

20

Dorothy, the Wizard is a giant head; the Scarecrow sees a beautiful woman; the Tin Woodman sees a ravenous

beast; the Cowardly Lion sees a ball of fire. The Wizard agrees to help each of them, but one of them must

kill the Wicked Witch of the West who rules over the Winkie Country.

(F)

As the friends travel across the Winkie Country, the Wicked Witch sends wolves, crows, bees, and then her

Winkie soldiers to attack them but they manage to get past them all. Then, using the power of the Golden

Cap, the Witch summons the Winged Monkeys to capture all of the travelers.

(G)

5 10 15

When the Wicked Witch gains one of Dorothy's silver shoes by trickery, Dorothy in anger grabs a bucket of

20 25 30 35

water and throws it on the Wicked Witch, who begins to melt. The Winkies rejoice at being freed of the

40

witch's tyranny, and they help to reassemble the Scarecrow and the Tin Man. The Winkies love the Tin

Woodman and they ask him to become their ruler, which he agrees to do after helping Dorothy return to

Kansas.

(H)

Dorothy uses the Golden Cap to summon the Winged Monkeys to carry her and her companions back to the

Emerald City, and the King tells how they were bound by an enchantment to the cap by Gayelette.

(I)

5 10 15 20

When Dorothy and her friends meet the Wizard of Oz again, he tries to put them off. Toto accidentally tips

25 30 35 40

over a screen in a corner of the throne room, revealing an old man who had journeyed to Oz from Omaha long

45

ago in a hot air balloon.

(J)

5 10 15

The Wizard persuades the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion that what they lack are not

20 25 30 35

brains or a heart or courage, but faith in themselves. In order to help Dorothy and Toto get home, the

40 45 50 55

Wizard realizes that he will have to take them home with him in a new balloon, which he and Dorothy fashion

60 65 70 75

from green silk. Revealing himself to the people of the Emerald City one last time, the Wizard appoints the

80 85 90 95

Scarecrow, by virtue of his brains, to rule in his stead. Dorothy chases Toto after he runs after a kitten

100 105

in the crowd, and before she can make it back to the balloon, the ropes break, leaving the Wizard to rise

and float away alone.

(K)

5 10 15

Dorothy turns to the Winged Monkeys to carry her and Toto home, but they cannot cross the desert

20 25 30 35

surrounding Oz. The Soldier with the Green Whiskers advises that Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, may

40 45 50 55

be able to send Dorothy and Toto home. They, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion journey

60 65 70

to Glinda's palace in the Quadling Country. Together they escape the Fighting Trees, dodge the

75 80 85

Hammer-Heads, and tread carefully through the China Country. The Cowardly Lion kills a giant spider, who is

90 95 100 105

terrorizing the animals in a forest, and he agrees to return there to rule them after Dorothy returns to

110 115 120 125

Kansas—the biggest of the tigers ruling in his stead as before. Dorothy uses her third wish to fly over the

Hammer-Heads' mountain.

(M)

At Glinda's palace, the travelers are greeted warmly, and it is revealed by Glinda that Dorothy had the

power to go home all along. The Silver Shoes she wears can take her anywhere she wishes to go. She

tearfully embraces her friends, all of whom will be returned, through Glinda's use of the Golden Cap, to

their respective sovereignties: the Scarecrow to the Emerald City, the Tin Woodman to the Winkie Country,

and the Cowardly Lion to the forest. Then she will give the Cap to the king of the Winged Monkeys, so they

will never be under its spell again. Dorothy and Toto return to Kansas and a joyful family reunion. The

Silver Shoes are lost during Dorothy's flight and never seen again.

54321 54321067 <— Matrix break out... Just need the key, in which the location of the key was posted in one of the threads.

An anonymous analyst has noted that the above is the breakout of the matrix cypher block. Just need the key to continue to decipher the message.

Best of luck to everyone. Don't forget to post your discoveries as you find them to help others.
Report Post Tip
I have been looking at these for hours and havent got a clue how to do one bit of it. i need help :(
Report Post Tip
For the third one it has been proven that the matrix appears to be in this format:

5 4 3 2 1 0 6 7 5 4 3 2 1

5 5

4 or 4

3 3

2 2

1 1

0

6

7

It appears from the amount of cells (35) that numbers and letters must be in the matrix.

could be in sequential order:

5 4 3 2 1 0 6 7 5 4 3 2 1

5 a b c d e f g h 5 a b c d e

4 i j k l m n o p 4 f g h i j

3 q r s t u v w x or 3 k l m n o

2 y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 2 p q r s t

1 6 7 8 9 1 u v w x y

0 z 0 1 2 3

6 4 5 6 7 8

7 9

But these have been tried and it appears as in the case of the other cyphers that PrinceofCheese used keys as well. How keys work:

So if he used his name: PrinceofCheese

Step 1) remove the duplicate characters: princeofhs

Step 2) place in the cypher block at some location: presumably the at the start

Step 3) fill in the rest of the matrix using the other letters and numbers, ensuring you do not duplicate letters with the letter in the key.

5 4 3 2 1 0 6 7 5 4 3 2 1

5 p r i n c e o f 5 p r i n c

4 h s a b d g j k 4 e o f h s

3 l m q t u v w x or 3 a b d g j

2 y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 2 k l m q t

1 6 7 8 9 1 u v w x y

0 z 0 1 2 3

6 4 5 6 7 8

7 9

Example using the above matrix:

Go get a drink.

Would be (using the numbers from the left matrix and across the top first would be):

04 65 04 05 23 34 14 45 35 25 74.

G o g e t a d r i n k .

I hope this helps... :)
