Chade looks around at the people walking briskly by him, head down eager to get their errands done and back behind closed doors.

Most of these people didn't even know the conflict is finished or why it even happened he muses to himself.

Eager to get it out of the way, Chade steps forward to make himself seen from all around rather then leaning unobtrusively against the wall of the cafe smoking a cigarette.

Looking around at the faces looking at him, he clears his throat before speaking.

So I know most of you think you may know why things happened. I cant speak of the motivations for other cities or leaders, but I do speak for Las Vegas.

Over the last few months, after first taking on the mantle of city head, then Godfather. Both Chicago and New York were the undeniable powers of the game. They had a bond that couldn't be broken, they were their for each other. But they also ruled not only their cities, but other cities through fear of being wiped out, the knowledge that if you fucked up one too many times, or pissed them off the wrong way then they would and could take you out without breaking a sweat.

I don't deny that Las Vegas wasn't affected, I have made calls that people within and probably without of my city don't like or agree with, I bowed my head when needed, and agreed to things I shouldn't have because It was what was best to keep Las Vegas alive.

When I was approached asking if I would like to participate in helping take down Roman and -Premier I initially said no, I believed and i know this may be a little paranoid, that it was a trap to get me saying I would to give them an excuse, a scapegoat to take me out. So I said no, and kept going on with business on the West Coast.

I was then approached a second time, by the person who was putting the plan together, I listened, I asked question and I went back to my leaders and spoke about it and still thought it couldn't be done, still thought that bond, that empire both men put together couldn't be taken down.

I was then given information that Roman wanted to take out Las Vegas, he just hadn't gotten around to it yet. I have no idea if these are true, but I thought over the plan some more, I asked more questions and decided that the reward of removing the two giants was worth the risk.

Chade lights a cigarette before gathering his thoughts.

I am rambling a bit, but it has been a hectic day and I am still trying to put things back into place.

Las Vegas moved because I saw that it had an opportunity, a business opportunity to remove two powerhouses, change how things ran. We did not do it alone, I didn't even plan this, but I agreed to help purely for the future safety of Las Vegas.

I would like to pay homeage to the fallen of Las Vegas and other cities that lost people during the war. Your sacrifice isn't forgotten. It took all of us to achieve this and we couldn't have done it without you. Rest In Peac.

I would even like to say Rest in Peace to the fallen of the other side.

I would like to think that stability will come once again for as long as possible, I look forward to working along side the new Godfather's of Chicago and Los Angeles, and hope that crime will once more bloom across the eight cities.

Flicking his half smoked cigarette away, Chade looks up.

I wont keep rambling, This wasn't personal, but business. Now it is time to rebuild what was lost and keep moving forward, for all cities

Detroit held the same conversations with the same people and of course held the same reservations as to whether it was even possible.

Over time it became abundantly clear that with Premeir in charge, and Roman backing his every move, things were going from bad to worse. Decisions were being made and forced on other Godfathers who were, as you said, agreeing to simply preserve the life of their people. With a situation like that were was only ever going to be one outcome, someone had to die.

I would like to give my sincere condolences to the fallen on both sides, it was a long and hard fought war and many many people died. I hope that most understand why the collective decided we had no other choice.

I look forward to working alongside the remaining City Heads and helping build a brighter future for us all.

i think all the leaders who made this decision must be applauded for their bravery in making this call...knowing the consquences should you have failed would be enough to make anyone wary

First i would like to say RIP to people who died for their cities, thats honorable death, also RIP to Roman Premeir and others who died fighting on their side. We all must agree that roman and premeir created two strong empires but everything has its end. I personally belive that we can learn a lot from you two. At the end congradulations to people who planned this, i know it wasnt easy.

The last day or 2 have been hard on a lot of people.

I care not what others may think, but I have to thank Roman for allowing the bloodline of Clarence Worley walk around the streets, he broke the mould as he was hunted and killed at many oppotunities, however under The_Jester he found a home in Chicago that was welcoming and safeguarded.

The backing of Premier was probably of the same ilk, and ultimately was the best part of the reason he had to fall.

Just as i was beginning to think our leaders were just a bunch of sheep with no balls they go and pull this off. Kudos to all cities for sheer bravery and dedication to their own cities. I believe the world is a much safer place now for all.

After hearing Godfather Chade's explanation, SuperX takes a drag of his cigarette and begins to speak

Much like Godfater Chade, St. Louis had grown tired of bowing down to the wants on two Godfathers. We felt that the actions by the two powerhouse cities were growing more and more extreme, but much like the other cities  we knew for the safety of our families we had to roll with plans. When word came down there were plans to remove both Godfather Roman and Godfather -Premeir it was determined that the risk was worth the reward and decided to enter into a war that we felt that with all parties involved, could be won. To all the others we stood by and fought with, it was an honor and a privilege.

I would also like to pay my respects to all of the fallen on both sides, from top to bottom. RIP

We now have a huge rebuilding and clean up process ahead of us not only in St. Louis but as a community as a whole. St. Louis asks that you not harm a unsponsored mafioso from our fine city and we shall do the same for the other cities.

Progress sadly comes with a price but thats how our business works, as any other threat would need to be moved this is no different. 

The piles of unsponsored and unemployed bodyguards littering this thing of ours says it all. At the end of the day business is business.
