Your right, he can't sing for toffee, just ask anyone who went to Spike Island. Still one of the best bands of the generation tho, and the shear genius of the song writing and Squire back in fold is more than reason enough to go see them if you have the chance. With everyone singing back, you can never hear Ian Browns voice anyway!

oh, and you've only got to look at Ian Browns solo mateial to know he's got a knack for song writing. Where as Squire had one semi-successful album with the Seahorses

Can't sing for shite but his stage presence is immense, and they've easily had some of the best songs of the 90s if not all time.

All manchester bands of that era were immense... Inspiral Carpets, New Order, James, Happy Mondays, The Smiths even Charlatans lead singer was from Manchester.

Although being a manc I would say that slightly biased.
