| What Did You Do In The War | Started by: ManicStreetPreacher on Oct 25, '11 11:50 |

The war that swept across the 8 cities was ferocious. Many were lost. It was a war that was over quicker than many anticipated and it was a far that needed fought. It was also, I think, a war that in many ways brought the best out of all the participants. Roman and –Premeir fought hard and to the last. Roman’s attempt to sue for peace was a first but it was qualified with realism and was met with a hard-headed defiance from the enemies that were ranged against him and his allies.
An immense amount of kudos is due to the other Godfathers who planned and co-ordinated the attack. This was no mean feat – the paranoia that was rampant in this thing of ours meant that secrecy was paramount. There were no leaks. Everything went according to plan. People risked everything – and they had a lot to lose – and the entire enterprise was planned and executed selflessly. It was, if you will, a “good war”. A fairly clean war it was Winter of Discontent War.
Now the question arises, what did *you* do in the war?
This is an opportunity to record your take on events. An oral history of an epoch shattering, and zeitgeist defining, war. A takedown, a war of firsts.
WHAT DID YOU DO IN THIS WAR? |

The run up to the war was tense, eerie. There was talk of terrorists, people were banned. Those who knew what was coming jealously guarded the information.
-Premeir, before he died, told a foe that JimmyNapoli was felled by -Premeir. -Premeir claimed that he had logs showing Napoli's complicity in a plot against him, was alerted to Napoli's presence in his city and then shot him dead. It has never been verified and couldn't be in the fog of war that followed it. |

My father killed a new york mobster, then killed 2 and wounded one of Romans bgs and then came to a sad end swimming with the fishes...
But all in all it was a great event and something that was truly due for a long time. And from almost everyone i heard it was intense and exciting even if deadly for many. |
