Los Angeles is Proud to Present it's very own Fall Harvest Poker Tournament!

That's right ladies and gents, Los Angeles is in the spirit of giving this Harvest Season and what better 
way to give back than to have an all comers poker tournament!

 

LA will be hosting what we hope is the biggest Poker event yet! Every city will be 
invited and all their members as well to this outrageous event. There is no player 
limit, we will host multiple tables and the last man(or woman) standing, is the 
winner!

When: Sunday, November 6th, 22:00 MR Time

Where: Poker Stars 

Entrance Fee: 750,000

Prize: Half of the Pot, PLUS 20 Credits, donated by our very own GodMother Jade  ( if 50 people enter, thats nearly 19 million to the winner! + Credits! )

 

If you've got the cash and you've got the gumption, come on down to Los Angeles on 
Nov. 6th. Don't have the cash? Ask a friend or family member. Afterall, if you win, 
you'll be more than covered!

wow my friend this looks like it could end up being the tourney event of the year. With such a huge prize on offer I personally will be joining, as soon as I can get the funds together. I have a few bits of information I would like to find out before putting my name to paper.

First things first, well obviously first thing first, you ain't gonna be having the first thing third now are you heh. Anyway, when is the closing date for entry into the tournament?

Next I would like to raise what I think would be a valid point in many peoples mind. This is a lot of money to be handed over to a person, especially to an individual who I personally do not know, or heard much of. Do you think it would be possible for you to have someone with more authority vouch for you?

Finally, will there be any other prize tier other than coming first? there will be a lot of people who will be feeling like a dung beetle without any dung otherwise.

Seeing how the event is sponsored by the Godmother herself, I doubt it's a scam.

Looking forward to this! I'm not much of a gambling man, but it sure sounds like a blast.

The closing date for entry will be one day before the tournament. This will allow ample time to notify everyone of the final jackpot amount and ensure everyone has gained entry to the room. As McKnighter mentioned, this event is sponsored by the GodMother Jade of Los Angeles. I understand your concern and respect the question. Jade should be able to provide sufficient closure in that regard for any who wish to confirm the Tournament as true and accurate.

To answer your final question, I do hope to have additional prizes to hand out, but this will of course depend on the number of entry's. As we approach that date and i gain a better understanding of how many people will be joining on the 6th of November, I will be able to ascertain additional prizes outside of first place.

I never said it was a scam sir, this is a lot of money for a Goomba like myself. I just needed a little more confidence before handing over money to a person to a person I personally don't know. anyway I have said that I am more then likely join, l like a good game of Texas hold'em. We are playing Hold'em right?

If the second, third, etc place payouts depend on entrants.....can you give us an idea?  For example, if you have 30 entrants, first place 50%, 2nd place 25%, etc.  If we have 50 entrants and the house takes half it's not a very good investment for the players. 

That said, I am very glad to see this.  I had a cousin a few months ago try to set this up but his boss decided to ignore his countless messages asking for permission.  This should be a good money maker for you guys.  You should definately at least take 10%.  I hope this gets a lot of interest.  Finally, I'd love to play but I need to check my schedule that day.  This is the busy season for us gamblers.

Again, unfortunately i can not give an idea just yet on payouts past first place, because it is still dependant on entries. If 50 people enter the tournment, it will likely look like the below, but is subject to change, to possibly even a higher percentage. I will finalize the breakdown the night before the tournament though. :)
