Clank posted the idea in #main and it was shortly after some people were having an argument. And honestly, it would of been the highlight of my day if I could of just listened to two grown people verbally arguing about words written in this thing of ours. I'm tickled pink just thinking about the possibility.

Absolutely not. I do not want it to be some unspoken expectation of vocal socialisation what-so-ever. Plus its impossible to moderate unless a staff member was in there constantly. 

I think this would be a hell of a time, a pain in the ass like Georgette said so enter at your own risk. Also you could have an understanding that everything is being recorded in case an issue does have to be moderated by staff you could simply remember what time it happened and staff could review it at that time stamp to alleviate the need for a constant staff presence.

The space needed to record and timestamp everything is absolutely not worth something that once the novelty wears off won't be used much. Most voice chats are heavily vetted before people are invited when it comes to interesting things, such as wars. 

Also this opens up the window for a drunk person with a weird accent to say something innocent like knickers and someone genuinely hearing it incorrectly due to connection, their shitty hearing or a whole slew of reasons, and just results in headaches all around. 

I think you make really great points Georgette. I would ask that we don't prevent ourselves from innovation and advancement merely because we are afraid of how those changes MAY be used for evil. Though, as I mentioned your argument isn't invalid when it comes to the potential accountability/liability issues that may arise so I would leave that for the product owners to decide. 

I agree, this would be a nice touch. Maybe have an option to access away from lounge that's not moderated and patrolled with an intent to protect but rather if admin happen to be there and it's heard then it's acted upon. For me I think it would bring the community closer together which isn't a bad thing. 

So make a MR Discord, as so many have done before and they've never taken off. Because they can not be an official part of the game as the moderation needed isn't practical. 

Besides its a text based roleplay game. I want it to stay text based. 

If I wanna play games with voice, I don't do it on MR. 

Do you know how chaotic this would be, lol. Also, this is a text based game; however, I could get behind more font colors and other texting editing options.
