I come before you all today with a heavy heart. I am making this speech in acknowledgement of recent grumblings about a lack of leadership in Philly. All of you seemed to have noticed as of late a lack of communication from many leaders since before the war.

Now even after leaders are afraid to come forward and show that they are in fact taking a stand and moving their cities in the right direction. Godfather Kimble I applaud you for your presence of mind to take to the streets and speak to the people showing that someone is putting forth an effort to move into a new direction.

For those who have held their silence, out of fear, shame, or lack of anything to say you should be ashamed. The reason you appear weak is because of the lack of a presence as previously echod many times through now. No you do not hhave to spill all of your business into the streets, no one has said that. But when you can't even acknowledge or give reason for your auths other than them announcing it themselves how are we to even know you're alive other than seeing a list of names telling us otherwise?

You want to lead your people and this land in the right direction and no longer appear weak? Voice the changes! Better yet, make changes. Let be known that you're not quivering in a corner hoping you hit next rank and don't piss anyone off. Lead your people, show the mafia world what's being accomplished and that the times of fear and hiding thoughts and emotions are gone. Unify or fall victim to your cowardly selfish ways.

Take this however you'd like. Those leaders whom this applies will know upon reading. Thank you.

this young man has just shot himself in broad day light over prehaps the silliest thing ever. a city leader letting their newdt captian introduce themselves to the world. i fail to see any issue with don cassis way of handling this.  the recently deceased body at my feet just cried about lack of pressence when pressence was just shown earlier today when lotta told the masses what was occuring in philly.  the real shame in this is a young man shooting himself without a real legit reason

I think we can read between the lines on this one, I don't think it was a lack of action that drove this man to put the barrel to his head and pull the trigger.

No it was something else, perhaps it was his large gambling debts in New Orleans casino.

Perhaps it was post traumatic stress from the war...

Maybe it was an alchohal/drug addiction that he just couldn't shake or live with ...

Perhaps it was the fact that Cassi had to turn down his outright vulgar attempts to try and get into her pants ...

Or was it mere jealousy that he was incappable of ever attaining the respect and status that the Crew Leaders of Philly have along with many others ...

Perhaps we'll never know, or he will try to see if his jeuvenille cry for attention was heard or if they left him to die in the woods being ravaged by wolves like the boy who cried  "leadership" and return just to repeat his suicidal cycle of insanity, which as we all know means to repeat the same actoin repeatedly expecting different outcomes.

Its people like that whom don't earn respect yet expect it to be handed to them, that really upset me.

Enjoying a lovely stroll through Philadelphia, ellie looks down and notices the trash in the street. She quirks an eyebrow, pulls out her pen and planner, and makes a note to order another street sweeper. She carefully moves around the ripe pile of rubbish, so as not to dirty her heels, and moves on to enjoy the rest of the city.

This topic comes up over and over again, it's one that divides me.. Should a leader have a presence? Of course! But should a leader be defined just by that presence? I believe not. Take myself for incidence, I dont speak just for the sake of speaking, what's the point? I'll have my opinion on something when I choose to do so. I speak when I have something to say, not just to say something.

Does that make me a bad guy? I challenge you to speak with my family about that. I spend a heck of alot of one on one time mentoring people that would otherwise just be looked over. I lead my family forward with 8 years of skills my bloodline has learnt, I teach, I guide, I listen and learn. My HQ full of suggestions and incentives to work hard and succeed. My family has a sence of worth and value for them selfs. Which in my view is worth more to me than just spending my time commenting on every Tom dick and harrys speech, where my opinion has already been voiced by someone else just for the sake of it.

Plant a seed and watch it grow, that's something people can learn alot from, I challenge people to look outside the box and teach those who otherwise get looked over for the same faces. We have a genuine chance to innovate and lead a new way without the same faces in HQs again and again. What we pass on today will stay with those of tomorrow.

Yes. What is this world coming? When the hell is it appropriate for a Goomba to come to these streets of ours and mock an acting Godmother right before pulling a selfish act as to take his own life...

Such cowardliness will not be tolerated in the city of Philly. So glad this piece of shit pulled an act like this. No more burdens.

I believe Cassi gave her reason for that action and for a mere goomba to question this is damn near rude, but pffffft what would i know eh?

At the beginning of this speech, I was actually wondering if this was part of this whole 'free speech' period that people seem to be under the illusion we are all living in. My faith in things was restored once I realized this as nothing more than a young man looking to take verbal pot-shots at his city's leader before killing himself. Had this just been a young man spouting off at the mouth because he mistakenly believed that this 'new day' mentality meant that people can now speak however they please without consequence, well, 'what is this world coming to' indeed

Is the fact that LottaBEssen came to the streets to announce the grand opening of her HQ to the masses rather than Cassi really that overwhelming a source of outrage in our world? Granted I personally had knowledge of Lotta's set-up prior to the street announcement as did the other leaders, but even had I not I doubt I would have thought much of it had LottaBEssen's speech been the first I learned of it. And from my perspective, it appeared that Cassi was pretty quick to come to the streets and stand up for herself anyway, so I don't see how this defamation holds much merit

Being a part of the machine that was recently overthrown, I can appreciate why other leaders would have preferred to fly under the radar so to speak. Perhaps it was unnecessary to be apprehensive, and maybe they weren't. But regardless I get it. Cassi found herself in the position she holds now very suddenly if I remember correctly with the unexpected death of Godfather Grif, and appears to have handled the massive responsibility of running a city quite well under the circumstances she found herself in.

Piss-poor and spiteful speech in my opinion. Two thumbs down by my rating system. Or am I even allowed to say that here? Because I'm beginning to get the impression that the surviving leaders are subservant to the public scrutiny and sense of entitlement that low-ranked associates across the country are reveling in as a part of this idiotic 'new day' campaign that seems to be sweeping the Mafia. Perhaps I shouldn't be speaking negatively of this speech at all, as I certainly wouldn't want to be accused of discouraging open and honest discussion in the street!
