I’ve seen this question kicked about a bit in the streets, so I wanted to take the time out of my busy schedule just to give you all the answer you’ve been looking for.
Yes, I am entitled! I have this sense of entitlement because of how I was raised. I wasn’t born with this sense of entitlement, it was learned. I’ve read through journals, countless leaflets in the streets, and from those who I trust.
It is a new day. Don’t try to stop me. We, the masses, have the power! Wait, what? We don’t? Oh well then. Nevermind.
Let me say this. I agree with those who say there is a sense of entitlement out there. It sickens me as much as it sickens you and I’m but a lowly thug? Petty thief? Whatever the hell I am.
I’m not entitled to shit. I know I’m not, and know that I must work for everything I get. And that’s how it should be. My leader is a great man who has helped me out a ton. And I appreciate the help, but by no means did I expect the help nor did I believe that I was entitled.
My job, and my only job is to serve my family and my city. That’s it. I am not free to come out here and speak to whomever and about whatever I want. I’m not free to disrespect the leaders, city heads, or anybody who outranks me. I’m not entitled to invites from multiple crewleaders once I come to these shores. I’m not entitled to a hundred bodyguards because my father was a powerful man. (He wasn’t – I’m just speaking in hypotheticals.) I’m not entitled to be a Made Man simply because I’ve been working for a family for 10 days and have sold some drugs.
Understand, I know my place. I accept my place. And I love my place. I have no problem working hard for my family and earning my way in this world. I wish others were the same, and to be honest, many are. Unfortunately, many are not.
But let’s remember – this sense of entitlement that is felt by so many? Also a learned behavior. I’m sure they’ve had ancestors who were given everything they wanted – an invite without asking, a hundred bodyguards, the job of RHM? So, for those leaders – we will learn. Give us a bit of time, and we’ll figure out our place in this world.
For those who don’t think they have to change, and have this sense of entitlement, please do the following:
Don’t ask anybody for an invite. Just wait it out. Somebody will send you one. In fact, you’ll probably get more than one invite. So hang out, have some fun, and wait. And if get to gangster and nobody’s invited you yet? Keep waiting. Or, if you’re not comfortable waiting, then mail every crewleader and ask him/her why they haven’t invited you yet. Works every time
BGs? Don’t worry – your new crewleader will buy them for you. And makes sure you ask ‘em for at least 100. Otherwise, they’re useless.
You want to be RHM? Easy – just ask. Over and over and over again.
You are waiting to be MM? Same answer – just ask, over and over again.
And that’s how you do it. Thanks for the time. Back to work. |

I've been called many things such as a lazy slob and a P. I. G. pig but entitled hasn't been one of them. However just because I haven't been called entitled doesn't mean I'm not. I deserve 100 bodyguards. No wait! I deserve at least 101 bodyguards. I should also be promoted to Made Man upon achieving the minimum time and adequate units (which will take much longer than the minimum time as I've deemed jail breaking for poor people). The smart move would be to name me as RHM however I will not pursue that position as it would require me to interact with Chuckle more than once a month. |

Pickles walks in fuming!
Why am I not a Don yet?!?! What is wrong with this world?
Pickles picks up a stray puppy, puts him down, and kicks the homeless guy next to it.
Do I really have to interact with Chuckle? Isn't there just a fine I could pay? |

McKnighter annoyingly pulls off his hat, running a few fingers through his hair as he lets out a sharp sigh, shaking his head at the words that were given. |

My uncle was an RHM to a Godfather but is not a position i would believe i am entitled to with both their deaths. I sit around and although the drive is there to earn money, the long term objectives dont feel the same. I feel more like I want to see whats going on in the streets more and interact with families more on a chatting level and less rank, extort, murder as my uncle would of before me.
Although i have read his journals and spent much time with him learning the busy as i grew I honestly look around think of making some money and my line appearing and dissapearing as we need something from this world instead of all their time revolving round it. I can understand people employing those family lines they trust under them no matter the rank but at the end of the day if they want to protect their crew they try and do whats best for them. I know if i was a leader i would want my crew in safe hands if i was not around, but that doesnt mean i wouldnt give others opportunity. |

I look at this for a slightly askew point of view. I am entitled to nothing and everything at the same time. Whether I get that, all depends on who I am, how I act and most importantly what my boss thinks of me. If they are pleased with what I've done so far then I will get rewarded, similarly if I carry myself in a way that displeases my boss I will also get what I'm entitled to, but what that is, is usually not what we want. |

"So, someone's father works hard for you, earning your trust to become your Right Hand, always loyal and by your side to the very end. He paid for that loyalty with death from an enemy's bullet, during a war that involved your entire family. After the dust settles, and you have come on top, the man's son informs you that he wishes to join your family. Coming from a bloodline that you know is hard working, you shrug off that he's going to be very helpful, so you send him a half-billion dollar check and slap a Right Hand Man status to boot." |
