My line's stance against Roman & Prem pre-dates the war that recently changed things.  I stood for what I believed in and I don't regret it.  I maybe came off a bit too quickly - I was offered some advice but turned it down.

Anyway, I've come back for a look around and I can't quite believe what I'm seeing.  Well known rogues in bold suits?  Well known attention whores and idiots being lauded in the Streets?  Acne scarred 'Bosses' in bold suits surrounded by hundreds of BGs - this was meant to be the era of change etc etc etc.  The only thing that's changed is the guard.  Everything else is the same.

Same bullshit arguments in the Streets.  Same idiots on the Street corners saying the same stupid things.  Peope are still being bloodlined and people are still being banned.  

And as for the Godfathers - who are they?  I mean seriously, who's even heard of half of them.

You do realise that all the Godfathers in place, were long established leaders prior to being Godfathers. So if you haven't heard of them before now, its as much your fault as it is theirs.

Each of them have often been out into these streets offering their thoughts on matters they felt deserving of their attention. Enjoy civilian life, I don't think we'll miss you..whoever you are.

Unless I'm wrong, which has occured once today, I dont know of anyone being bloodlined or banned. Those bans where lifted a day after the take down settled I believe. Correct me if I'm misinformed.

As to bodyguards, did you expect for everyone to fire their massive ammounts of bodyguards once the Roman/Premeir Empire was destroyed? That would be unrealistic and honestly down right idiotic. While the 8 cities joined together to remove a foe, that doesnt mean that in the future they will not turn on one another for their own individual purposes.

I see no rogues amongst the crewleaders, they all set up during a time of war where someone they answered to allowed them that chance.

I'm actually starting to get comfy in this bed. I think I will.

* No bloodline is banned or being hunted.

* People are taking to the streets, being more open. The evidence is there for all to see.

* There appears to be a more level playing field across the 8 cities. Things seem more balanced and in order.

* The Godfathers and leaders are working with eachother, instead of some bullying others into making decisions.

These are just a few changes i have seen thus far. I am sure there will be more in time but things are already looking a whole lot peachier.

It amuses me the amount of people that doubt the change that is currently taking place. Surely you can not expect great change over the course of a week.. these things take time and effort.. but I can assure you plenty has changed already.

Since the downfall of Chicago and New York, I've seen bloodlines coming out to the street that normally would stand in the shadows. My own included. When the two great men were alive many people feared of the repercussions of saying something that would anger them. Today's society you see more people comfortable with stating their opinions. This is because the people in control at the moment are an approachable and understanding group of men and women.
There are also regular meetings between the leaders, meetings that are not controlled by one or two people.. instead a gathering of equals where things are discussed freely and without pressure.

As for bodyguards, rogues, bloodlining and banning.. Those in power will ALWAYS be surrounded by guards, to expect anything else would be silly. Why would somebody so important leave themselves vulnerable. Rogues in bold suits? I don't know of any rogues in bold suits. If you are referring to what their ancestors might have done in the past.. wouldn't not giving them a chance at greatness for the mistakes of their ancestors be a form of bloodlining itself? Being the RH of NO I can tell you that NOBODY is banned from New Orleans, and I have yet to receive word that anybody is banned from the other cities.. so not quite sure where that information comes from.. I would guess from another Civilian with about as much factual information as you.

I think thats the thing most people don't fully understand. Even if things seem to be fair you still have to earn the right to be a leader or to stand above someone else. The people in leadership positions right now aren't going to lay down for anyone's sake as they have goals to accomplish and cities they want to protect. Theres no such thing as instant gratification in this thing of ours which is what this misguided soul seemed to believe.

There's no such thing as a level playing field, people are still running around with monster guns and 300+ BGs. How they choose to enforce their will, will probably be seen at a later date.

You can see small changes as it stands but the initiative could have been shown with anyone in power, it just wasn't.

The truth of that matter for someone just looking no you wont be able to tell the difference.  Some of the banned rogue and ex-banned people proved their worth in the war even if one good deed may not clear one hundred sins in the mind of some but its a start.  Cosmetically not much changes ever the strong and willing move forward and down the lines will be problems and a re-jig of whos on top but thats how our world works.

The truth is their is now a chance of opportunity, rank and position that some have not previously achieved and i dont remember the last time i saw the streets so busy.  It's called progress not everyones gonna like it, but is the business we are in.
