I don't want to beat a dead horse here as the new leaders I'm sure have a lot to deal with. I notice that they are also getting hit from all sides with people who are unhappy with certain changes that have occurred from one regime to another. I don't know how to phrase this without getting torn at by people from certain families, and I was truthfully hesitant to bring this up to begin with. Freedom of speech seems to have taken a thrashing recently, but I will take a shot at this anyway.

I've noticed that after the war there were no protection orders thrown up EXCEPT for Philadelphia. Do people really not mean enough that there wasn't an order put up? Also, I didn't see ANY other city agree to not shoot at Philadelphia unsponsoreds. I mean how hard is it to say, "I agree"?

Maybe the leaders sent out mass mails (fingers crossed) not to shoot mobsters from certain home cities, but I'm going to bet that judging by the amount of unsponsored people who are dying above gangster this isn't getting taken seriously. I'm disappointed. This is the new and better era and yet every day it feels like we're regressing. We're being told all the city heads are best buddies but nobody gave a shit enough to post an agreement in Philadelphia's protection list.

I don't think it's nitpicking to ask for the most basic of signs that we are appreciated for our service to our cities both past and present from our bloodlines. This is a genuine plea to the crewleaders who haven't (understandably) answered Fuji's allegations with any sort of conclusive insight. Or to those same leaders who much less than understandably haven't answered questions regarding the war or even to ChuckTesta as to WHY there hasn't been a reason given.

I'm not even asking for the most basic of information, I'm just asking for some sign, ANY sign that you care about our bloodlines' respective sacrifices.

The only reason i can ever think of not giving a protection list is to not unveil members names to shooters out there.  I know that maybe reaching and as wars are a busy time, i do find a lack of protection orders strange.

Most cities probably just sent out a mass mail, after a war of this magnitude its kind of hard to keep track of everyone, but they do care. If they don't want to give out answers they probably believe it should be classified and that's something we have to respect. If you or anyone else feels that you were wrongfully killed for being unsponsored after the war I'm deeply apologetic, but some people take advantage of these situations. As for why others haven't been answered, they haven't approached anyone personally or even asked in a respectful manner; but the truth usually finds its way to those who look for it. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you but I hope it helps.

Most of the unsponsoreds you see dying these days are coming from cities who do not have anyone to protect them. Do not forget that the recent war left two cities completely empty. I can tell you there has not been a rash of killing of unsponsoreds in cities that still have leadership. A few here and there, yes, but that's going to happen regardless, because some people have itchy fingers.

That is the problem though, isn't it? Yes, everyone within the cities received information about the war, or in the case of this speech, the protection lists.

Yet many more people died and remained homeless after the war. How many people, after losing their most recent family member, joined this life immediately? Many I am sure. Just as many stayed away to mourn. They have come back to start anew, to try and fill the shoes of their departed mothers and fathers to find that there was no reasoning.

Yeah it does. I'd revise your statement somewhat though to something along the lines of "The population of this world that we care about does not beyond the borders of the headquarters." Anyone who does not have a crew is not officially affiliated with the mob. Numerous mails and telegrams were sent out, meaning that anyone who was left crewless had plenty of time to find a new crew and be sent correspondence regarding those who could or could not be targeted.

If anyone wasn't around to receive this correspondence, it frankly doesn't matter; as neither would they have been around to get out their gun and start shooting things.

Incidentally, how many times have you seen people protest their innocence over an illegal shot because they 'didn't see' or 'didn't know' about the street notification? Sure, ignorance is no excuse and they will be punished, but that won't bring back the mobster who's pushing up daisies due to an erroneous shot. Mails are a far better way to broadcast the message, as a high percentage of people'd be more likely to check their mailbox than to venture down the streets. Common sense really.

There are a few things that need to be addressed here, the first of which is this 'freedom of speech' fallacy. Roman, and by association Premeir, actively discouraged participation in certain topics by their family members when they didn't like what they heard. That has gone. However, at no time did anyone declare it to be open season on being disrespectful and getting away with it. If it appears that freedom of speech has taken a thrashing, that is because some people needed knocking back into line (although I've actually seen very few deaths in relation to Street stupidity of late) to emphasise this point.

The next is the protection order myth. I am willing to bet that the vast majority of families have a rule in their HQ about shooting of unsponsored members. Why then, does a leader have to come out and acknowledge a pointless protection order? Anyone who breaks a rule of their Don is going to be in serious trouble, regardless of whether another completely separate city came out and advised people not to shoot their now unsponsored members. Why say "I agree" when unless you're tolerating your own members flouting your own rules, then they are already in agreement?

If it feels to you like we're regressing because everyone isn't getting treated with kid gloves anymore, fantastic, here's to hoping we carry on with the reversion. Perhaps the leaders are actually just expecting their members to follow their rules? Maybe they actually just don't give a shit about Philly's protection list and are interested to see what Philly would do about it if it got ignored? Maybe they want to obliterate every unsponsored off the face of the planet? The bottom line is that you don't know what the leaders' motivation was in failing to respond to a duplicitous announcement so don't speculate that it is because 'nobody gave a shit enough'.

Which crewleaders are you talking about who haven't shown they care about your sacrifices? AlabamaWorley for instance says that she addressed her city and those people who fought for her personally and continues to do so. I know JesseJames, having donated nearly 30 straight hours in dedication to his family and city, was recuperating before making a public announcement but has still been doing the rounds within Chicago to those members of our families who aided us; as are PizzaTheHut and Monet for their individual families. Who is it you're talking about? Certainly not Chicago as we prioritise our families above all else.
