What a heartbreaking story... defintely got me choked up a little to be honest.

Just sat through the whole thing in tears. Doesn't take much these days to be honest, but that was truly heartbreaking.

On one hand, I really detest the way X-factor turn real life matters into 'sob stories' in an effort to get vieing figures up and more peoples on the phone, especially when it's a really trivla and inconsequential matter like we often see on the UK version.

This, though, is absolutely inspirational. The guy's outlook as an absolute credit to himself and his family. In his or his brother's position, how easy would it be to become self absorbed bitter and negative; yet he has such a positive outlook and seems genuinely to be a nice lad.

Heartbreaking, yeah, but seeing this lad's attitude, as well as the way his mum's been, brought a myself smile to my face. Brilliant use of the Lennon song too, I don't doubt he'd be chuffed it being used in such a way!

His mum is the inspiration for bringing up someone so positive and the dude has heart. And i 100% agree with the judge at the end it makes everything you worry about so pathetic. 

Man you guys are making me feel like an ass...I personally did not find that story to be that heart breaking or sad. Very shitty luck but no cake!

The American version with Simon Cowell is better. >_>
