Keep your circle small and you won't go far wrong. Plenty of good people about but we live in a society with social media that makes people hungry for more. It is all bullshit though, I see plenty of people with there husband, wife, kids whatever oh look at me i have a brand new range rover yet the house they live in is rented and worth not much more. People going on holiday, oh look at me i'm living my best life but its one that mummy and daddy have paid for.

Don't believe everything you see and hear ode lad, life can be brilliant but you've got to be happy with yourself.

If you stop thinking of it as money and start thinking in of it as fun tokens (which admittedly then need to be spent on less fun stuff like rent and bills) that can be a bit better :)

eh - Maybe many years ago I thought it was all about money.  I don't now.  I mean - it is a little bit about money - but it most defintely is not everything.  I make less now than I did 15 years ago even though my hourly wage is significantly more.  

I just choose not to work as much.

Life is about time.  I don't want to spend my time working.  I want to spend my time with my kids, with my wife and with my dog.  I want to play hockey and I want to go golfing and I want to hang out by the fire with my friends and drink beers.  And yes - even with you grumpy fuckers here.  

If you wanted to drop a few million in my bank account I wouldn't be upset though.

The beautiful of life and our individuality is that the point of life is whatever you make it. Whatever you yourself deem important is the point of your life. For me personally money has never been that high on my priority list, money is a tool I use for experiences and to be able to do things for those I love. So hopefully you’ll find your purpose or passion that you can deem important enough to be your reason to live.
