How you feel when you know you're dead. Started by: YouLoveUs on Nov 22, '11 12:45

When you find yourself facing the dreaded screen, what's the first thing that goes through your mind?

Vengance?

A quest for the truth?

Feelings of rage?

A desire to quit?

A humourous aside, dusting yourself off and starting over?

A sense of freedom, like Jimmy Boyle, at starting over, afresh?

All of the above?

My automatic reaction nowadays is... "Right, time for a joint before I sign up again".

When I first started out... I raged at it.

Then slowly... I laughed at it.

Until eventually, it was... just another screen

;)

I remember the rage.  Now-a-days I'm more annoyed if there is no whisper.

Ah, joints; the folly of youth...

"Really? Again? I didn't even do anything wrong!"

NOT AGAIN! - SIGH

I've been rather lucky when it comes to death screens. The past few times my line has died it has been because I have engineered it to happen. My usual reaction is about time.

Report Post Tip

the last three or four times, died just short of mangeing to be someone. 4 letter words are my friend.

Report Post Tip

I kind of get this feeling where i just kind of want to ask why? And swear quietly under my breath. Then I make a profile pic for my new character which usually brightens my mood then i work on my new character.

Report Post Tip

Ive seen that screen so many times in the past 10 years all i do is click past it and enter in my answers.

Report Post Tip

Anyone see the irony in this? I wonder how he felt...

Report Post Tip

musta been pissed given his response

Report Post Tip

It depends on how I die. Wackback leads to frustration. Dying in a war is usually ok by me...at least I died fighting. The worst kind of death is waking up to the screen and knowing you didn't get a chance to do anything. Still, after a little break, all is usually well again.

Report Post Tip

Im usually in awe...I use to get pissed but now idc...

Report Post Tip

I feel like ... nothing ... when your dead your dead, new life begins and the old one is gone like I say in my profile the best you can hope for is that you be born an original and you don't die a copy ... be yourself, move on. Think level headed don't act rashly, walk away for an hour a day a week whatever time it takes for you to think clearly ... then give em hell!

Report Post Tip

like at first fk, then i'll be like oh well at least less distractions in life

Report Post Tip

Yeah Gerbert I know what you mean, but that lack of distraction just gets replaced by a new one eventually, or it doesn't last that long, people usually come back. Like I have many times over the years.

TO me it's like this.

Throws a chair, calls up mom to say "Fuck you and have a nice day", eat a samwhich, facebook, twitter, go outside (When I'm outside it's like holy hell. This is sun?), two minutes later start a new account.

:)

Before... my heart beated fast and i said... Oh, NO! But... now, i just say... oh well, and start a new character. The thrill is trying to survive longer than the last character.
