I have meant to post this for a while. Sorry if it's been up.

I posted a thread in the streets last night about one liners. Basically about people not feeling appreciated for the work that they do.

I wondered if we could go back to the olden days of having a 'Replies' and 'Viewed' column next to every post?

Perhaps a 25% exp gain compared to a medium sized reply?

I just feel at times the streets lack decent activity because people are put off from posting because they do not feel their work is appreciated. I know I would certainly be more likely to post if I knew 300 people read my last speech. At least I know it's not a waste of everyone's time.

I like it. But the only thing I can see to discredit it would be, what are we considering a read? If you mean how many people opened it, then every street post for the most part is highly viewed. You click the post to see what it was about, you skim it for what it's about, then you decide if you actually want to read it. Sometimes I click the link just to see what a certain person said in the streets to make sure they are staying in the boundaries.

My point is is that it's just a basic thing of, you might have 300 views, and only 20 people actually READ, the post.

You can only have a view once from every account. It a unique view. But I see what you're saying. Even so. That person has taken the time to open your speech. Regardless of how they read it and it should really count.

Instead of giving credit for the opening instead put up an option next to the "watch thread" and have it be a "read it" option.

That way they at least have to take the time to acknowledge that they've took the time to read it.

I do really like this idea as I like to know whose paying attention to what threads and if its not replied to because its not getting reads or if its getting read and its just a flop fail disaster.

First, I'd like to thank the Late Gene_Hunt for proposing this idea. For one - It's not labor intensive on the part of the developers. 

The forums are the lifeblood of the game and having a number of unique views would allow the original post to gaige himself, comments aside.

Developers, please consider this addition.

I really like this idea, don't really care whether or not you get points for it,  just would be a nice feature to have.
