To begin with, I agree that some bloodlines will never change, and that they should not be given chance after chance after chance to prove they have changed, only to throw it back in our face and mess things up again. However, there are certain instances where people will make a bad judgement call and end up dying because of it. I don't personally think their bloodline should now be tarnished forever, give them a chance, sure, just not ten chances. Even after a few chances have been wasted, maybe give a 'cooling off' period, terrible way of describing it, I know, but just a period where they aren't given any more chances. At the end of this period, they can then be given another chance, but just one chance, again, not another ten. |

Why should we be instating Godfathers or Godmothers in each city? Each city has their designated representative, to meddle in other city affairs is bad juju. Also, why can't the council blame crewleaders for their members? Made or not, each Crewleader is responsible for whatever their crew does or fails to do. Even when someone is simply associated with the crew, there are measures in which you can take to avoid any discredit brought on by them. You could stay in touch with their lives and request participation in whatever you have going on.
In this thing of ours, we take responsibility for our actions and the actions of those associated with the crew and our city. The whole blame game comes with anything as it's all part of the game of politics. Pointing fingers is the result of opinions made by these crewleaders and Godfathers or Godmothers, all with their respected reasons, c'est la vie.
War as we know it is inevitable. The reasonings behind wars are vastly motivated and occur with little to no notice. The Godfather Council can do their best to settle upon whatever is at hand but at the end of the day, each person has their own opinion reserved and that's what, in my experience begins the unrest.
I believe that the council hasn't directed the matter of leaving those cities without Godfathers or Godmothers but rather left them to the ranking or designated individual to rise to the position. The title of Godfather or Godmother comes with great prestige and not everyone is up to the task. Leaving it as how it is now, I believe, is best. Let those who are rising to the position fight for it, earn it. |

Every shot a member takes is on the crew leader, be it good or bad. There's only one way to build up a gun and that's by being under the protection of a CL. You can only control someone so much, them choosing to betray the trust of being a "hitter" and use it for something else doesn't take away from the facts. |

So in other words...This is just a run of the dice thing then? You shouldn't accept members if you don't want to take that risk. I know it's not a high risk if you do get to know that person and past characters etc. |
