I have grown very accustomed to the convenience of the contacts feature. Being able to quickly spot out friends and family from the masses is quite a cherished feature of mine.

I've come here with the proposal to take this great feature one step further ... to the jails.

Now I know that the one responsible throwing the jail appears with a red name idicating that they were kind enough to spend the credit to throw the jail. I would love to see contacts and family members also show in color on the jail screen. I'm not savy enough to know how much work needs to be done for something like that but I feel that would be a great way to see who was your family and which friends were in the jail with you so that you can break them out and so on.

Just a thought, nothing major but it would be nice to see if its not too much trouble.

In my opinion, jailing really shouldn't be simplified to this level. If you don't know who's in your family, or who your contacts are, I don't think the admins should make it easier for you to find them. If you can't take the time to read the family, or even click the name before you bust him, then I don't think the Coders should take the time to make it easier for you.

Yeah I realize now that it is a bit of a selfish request, I didn't realize that the coders were busy putting the final touches on this game and are reasonable busy with that at the moment.

I'm not a lazy person it just seemed to me like a simple thing to add which is why I even asked in the first place.

Sometimes the list gets long in the jails and to have an easy way to seperate is nice, especially since there is already some color differentiation already.

It would be more for the new members to these parts joining the larger crews.

But your right these things can be done manually easy enough, I'll let this one fade out.

It's not about not knowing whose in your family or friends, its about making their names stand out as they would on the 60 sec list. We already have the tech for it, so we can apply it here. Jails in any capacity, are nothing more than a long gray list, just like the 60 second list. You want to know who is there that you know or is in your family, like the 60 second list, so you have it turn green or blue, like the 60 second list.

Sure I usually do know the names of those within my family but that doesn't make finding them in the jail list any easier, this would.

A decent idea in my opinion, I think it would allow us to choose who to break out instead of just randomly clicking. As for the suggestion above about checking profiles before busting... You try that and let us know how it works! From my experience, many times you can click to check their profile, and go back to the jail to bust them only to find them no longer there.

To my amazement I remember reading this thread and liking this idea and this morning in New York there was a jail and low and behold ... my contacts were shown in a light blue color, my family members weren't colored but thats fine, just take the time to add them to your contacts and your good to go.
