So today I just experience for the first time a mug back that I've never seen before.

Today I was walking along and I decided that I saw a guy my rank and I had nothing to do so I'd approach him and mug him, he noticing that I stole some money from his pocket then turned around and did the same thing ....

Well little did I know that this defensive type of mugging is drastically different then the offensive fail kind ...

Now I get that a significant amount of people are pissed about mugging ... whatever  I'm not here to argue that but what gets me is this;

My Flight and Attack timers were boosted by two hours each .... WTF is about the only accurate way I can put that into words (letters)

So to get this straight in my mind I tried to justify why that might be the case ... to no avail I could think of no reason at all such a punishment should be in place ... furthermore ...

The people I mug aren't the people that are unfriendly to it, so if its a fun part of the game to them why should it punish me for it, it shouldn't stop them from coming back after me but when things like pick pocket competitions go on to have to pay the penalty with timers is ludacris.

The serious offense of wacking at somebody doesn't penalize you nearly as much as this would ... if this kind of system was in place for wacking (well it couldn't becuase it requires a successful attempt) but go with me on this ... if I shot at somebody missed and they saw it they would theoretically be able to turn around wack me and then my account would spend a day in jail for it to be realistically comparable.

The offense of stealing an insignificant amount of cash shouldn't result in such an outrageous penalty ... take more money sure, but don't $*%& up my timers please!

messing up the timers is the BEST part

this awsome feature was installed to help thrawt people from pping no pp friendly people. the mass cash you can get from them too is nice

I understand the wanting to get revenge and getting more money back than was stolen, that part makes sense role play and game play,

However, messing with the timers has no place in the game, putting a feature such as this one is basically telling people, "Don't Mug or you'll pay for it whether your friendly or not"

If the point is to stop people from mugging and you went this far to do that might as well remove the damn thing from the game OR ...

A really simple fix that should've been in place a long time ago is ... ready for this now you might want to brace yourself ... here it comes ...

SEPERATE THE TIMERS!

Yeah I know its revolutionary, yes I know its insane, actually no it makes perfect sense, mugging and wacking are two very different actions and should be treated as such, I know you'll say its and "attack' and thats why its called an attack timer but common its stupid. If you want to mess with timers because of mugging then make it affect your ... get this ... mugging timer.

Now I know the game is getting close to go live and such a change like this would be very significant regardless of how much or how little work it would take to get this done but I'm sure I'm not the first to consider this game change but I definitely think it should be considered before this game goes live as this would make things more reasonable and realistic. It would also get more use of the mugging feature, after all we don't want another aspect of this game to be as useful as your wisdom teeth. (Pay Day I'm talking about you and I might as well include the Stock Exchange at this point since people don't seem interested enough and motivated enough to ressurrect that dinosaur.)

Let me know what you think but I really feel a lot of the community would support me on this one.

Or maybe just have a option in your profile to switch from PP friendly and Non PP friendly... If you PP a person who has the option switched to non PP friendly then the after effects come into place, timers and all. :)

Considering this change went into place awhile back and there was very little bickering about it, i doubt it will be changed now
