As the black began to melt into a more recongizable haze even than Djosefin couldn't feel anything. As minutes passes as hours, her sight began to come back. As her conciousness returned, she quickly tried to grab her head, but only to be greeted with the alarming fact her hands were tied behind her. Her mind became alerted with awareness as from awakening from a nightmare; but this was no nightmare. Djosefin lifted her head to only see around a small room. Looking around, there was only a chair in the middle of the room and a table to the far corner. 'Ah shit...' As she moved her head down, there was blood leading to where she was situated on the floor, up against the wall. Throwing her head back, she was trying to remember exactly what had happened to where she could have been put in this position. 'Djosefin what the fuck did you do this time around.' Without a doubt the took everything off of her, only leaving her in her t-shirt, jeans and socks. The gun, wallet, drugs, everything.

As she sat there, she didn't have any thought about the time or day. The last thing she could remember was being in a bar just downtown New Orleans. Though Djosefin had no clue to even if she was still in New Orleans. She could have been back home in Chicago for all she knew. The bar was a joint that Djosefin attended regularly when she was doing big drug deals with the local Mafia. It was small and quiet. Filled with the aromas of cigarette smoke and beer. Hanging over top of that was the constant music of blues or jazz players of all walks of life. She enjoyed the atmosphere. Though Djosefin was the only women who attended the bar, but the local men had grown accustomed to her presence. She had earned their respect by keeping some of the peace between the drunk and the drugged. Djosefin didn't mind, it was just in her nature.

That night, by what she could remember was like any other night. She walked in after settling a drug deal and wanted to quench her thirst. As she strolled in, she saw the usual faces greet her with a smile or nod. As she reached the bar, the bartender waved and disappeared. Only to reappear with her regular order of whiskey and a splash of cola. She took a stool at the bar and procceed to drink from the glass. The locals would always start up a conversation or hear or say a few stories about her travels or relationships. Mostly relationships. Djoesfin couldn't help but chuckle to her self that that may be the reason the men respected her so much. She was a bit of a heartbreaker. Traveling from city to city and not staying in one spot. It was nessecary for her job, she couldn't control when she travelled or when she stayed. It wasn't the men that were heartbroken, but the women that Djosefin seemed to charm.

Djosefin pushed herself against the wall and tried to stand-up. Struggling to her feet, she finally was able to stand-up. Her body was beginning to show it's signs of pain. Finally lifting her head and trying to straighten herself up against the pain, she saw some papers sitting atop the table. She staggered to the table and almost fell against it. Catching herself, Djosefin took a deep breathe and straightened herself out. Shuffling around the table until the papers where readable she began to read...'Fuck.'

As Djosefin sat and enjoyed her whiskey, she shut out the rest of the bar and world. Just than a hand had wrapped around her shoulder. Not moving, Djosefin waited for the strangers next move. Just than a young man sat down next to her. He didn't make eye contact, but all his actions were directed towards her. A whisper than pierced the bar air clean and clear.

"If I were you, you should leave this bar..."

Djosefin tried to absorb what had just happened, but the man disappeared as fast as he came. Downing the rest of the whiskey, she placed the glass down and quickly jumped off the stool. Zipping up her leather jacket, she pushed her way out of the bar as fast as she could. When she hit the sidewalk, she made quick pace around the corner and into the alley where she had parked her car. 'What a place to park your car Djosefin...in the alley.' Than...that is when everything turned black.

Sounds like the series finale of The Sopranos. Did she parallel park and was Journey playing on the jukebox?
